The magnification is too high and the depth of field too small for this to be used for make-up and barely usable for shaving. If used with the standard mirror siide, it performs well. Seems sturdy, easy to install and the dimmer works nicely.

Well we loved it for the first 10 months of its life in our bathroom. The dimming switch has now failed we can no longer control the light, neither on/off or any dimmable setting. A casual look under the hood shows that accessing and replacing it is no easy task. I was surprised to see only a 90 day warranty on their website.... Other than this switch failing, we loved everything else about the light.

Great product. Large size. I had to return it because the magnification was too much for me.I wear glasses for reading and had to be too close not getting full view. Wish there were more hard wired optionsin brushed nickel

The mirror looks, and is made, much cheaper than the price. The arm is difficult to extend. The light is very nice, but overall, the mirror is not as nice as it looks in the pictures.

I had to return the mirror. One of the arms would not move. The mirror was pretty, but I needed the two arms it to extend from the wall.

Bought this mirror to help put makeup on. Love it a lot. Because it is hardwired, there is no cord to mess with. I also like the dimable light, and two different magnifications. We just remodeled our bathroom sink area with granite countertops, and it all looks good together. I would recommend this item.

I really don't like this mirror. I couldn't have it installed for a while after receiving it because of our renovations, so it really is my fault for not opening it up sooner and sending it back where it came from. I don't like the way it looks and I cannot see myself in the zoom side without putting my nose to the mirror. Honestly that's was why I got the zoom so I wouldn't have to do that. The arm is pretty short and the way you turn it on is awkward. Because it is dimmable you have to turn the knob all the way on and all the way off. Pretty annoying. I thought the outlet was cool but my electrician laughed about it. Well, he did put it above an outlet lol. Man, this thing is way too big and clunky.I'm pretty sure I'm going to find another one so I'm out the money for the mirror and the installation.By the way, be prepared before you look into a 10x zoom mirror! LOL

I should have returned it immediately when I saw how the light flickered when turning on. My husband and I use this mirror. He's taller and moves it to use it then I move it again when I use it. Because it has always been fragile we move it very gently and it is not moved but just a tiny bit. I could tell it was going to be flaky from the beginning. I didn't return it ONLY because it was already hung on the wall and I was lazy. Don't buy it - it lasted me just over the year warranty!!

Awesome mirror surface, that’s were it stops, last identical one I bought lasted 8 years, this one the ballast lasted 6 months, just off warranty, do not buy.
