Nice updated look, plug and play
To start off, the lights were easy to install. The plugs are direct fit for the 2011-2013 WK2, and the pieces snap in/out or are held on by one or two screws. The LEDs are bright, look sleek, and were exactly what I was looking for to upgrade the stock halogens. The reverse lights are halogen, but much brighter than the stock. They perform well and have a nice profile, especially at night. I posted several photos from different angles and times of the day so you can get a sense of how they look in different lighting. One photo also shows mid-install, so you can see the difference between the stock and Amerilite. I’ve had them in for about 2 months now, and I wanted to wait to post a review to ensure there were no water leaks or issues with LEDs burning out before posting. They’ve held up fine so far. If they fail or burn out, I will absolutely be updating this review. As a car part, they should be expected to last years at the minimum. I think one area people could be experiencing leaks from is the pressure seal on the inner taillight section. You NEED to clean the tailgate after removing the old taillights pressure seal so that there is a clean surface to adhere to, otherwise water can get directly in. This is the same way the stock taillights worked so it is not inferior, but needs to be installed properly so there is adhesion to keep out water or the reverse light cavity will fill up as water trickles in. My only real gripe is the price. For what they are, they could be a good amount cheaper and have a better warranty than 90 days. But since they’re basically the only ones on the market, it is what it is. Edit: 3/30/25 - I’ve had them installed for over a year with no issues. Still going strong.

Nice Upgrade!
I got these lights for my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and I’m really happy with them! Installation was super easy—just plug and play, which is awesome. They really give my Jeep a fresh, modern look. I was a bit worried about going with aftermarket lights at first because of potential quality issues and water getting in, but after a few rainstorms and car washes, they’re holding up great! I’d definitely recommend them!

Great Customer Service & Product
I absolutely love my new taillights. They do make a difference to the Jeep look on the tailgate. One light did come faulty but contacted customer service and they gave me a few options to do to try and fix and when nothing worked, sent me a replacement piece. Responded quickly too any messages as well. Will definitely buy from them again!

2012 JGC - Easy Install, some Hiccups. Plug n Play as advertised.
Easy Install, some Hiccups. The quarter panel assemblies are very easy to install. Two plastic pull out pins will allow you to separate the assemblies from the quarter panel, then two cables to disconnect. Not sure if my wiring was OEM or modified as I had an extra component that resembled a heat sink, but regardless, the cables plugged into the new units as advertised. Secondarily, there is an additional electrical unit that feeds in/out of the new units. Not sure of its purpose, maybe to increase resistance as LEDs have lower resistance and can cause performance issues because the circuit is being fooled. I however ran into a small issue: One of the pins in the new R/H unit was either shipped to me bent, or I bent it when I was plugging the cable in. I will assume I bent it and it was an easy fix to straighten it. Make sure your pins are straight or you may break them or have performance issues when you go to test the units. The hatchback units will require more tact and involvement. You will have to remove the interior hatchback panel. There are about a dozen or so plastic pins that offer some resistance to holding the panel in place, but should come off relatively easy. Be gentle when removing the panel. There are four nuts to each hatchback unit that are 10mm. Easy removal of the nuts and units. Easy install as well. When all parts are reassembled, close your hatch slowly and watch the edges where the quarter panel unit meets the hatchback unit on both sides. They may collide or interfere with each other. Simply remove the pins for the quarter panel unit(s) and readjust them so they are deeper into their indexing points and any gaps present are closed up more than before.

Nice lights
Easy installation as it really is “plug and play” it was a little complicated finding the correct place to mount the little block but very bright and nice looking lights. I’ve had them on for about a year and the strip around the right daytime running light has gone bad. At thhe price I bought them I really hoped I could get at least more than a year of use so that’s really disappointing. Vendor said there’s nothing they could do. A shop quoted me half the price of them to fix the issue.
