First of all this brand is amazing - trustworthy and effective - and I'm lucky enough to be a patient of this creator - Dr. Tori Hudson.This supplement was LIFE CHANGING!!!I was having cluster headaches and migraines and nothing was working to stop them from reoccurring. I was home all day alone with my 2 year old kiddo but I would be down for the count multiple times a week or month. There is a limit to how many sick days my hubby could take to watch our kiddo when a migraine was so bad. It was so stressful, especially when I first moved to where I live now - away from family and not really knowing anyone who I trusted to watch my kiddo. I was feeling overwhelmed and anxious all the time about when the next one would come and praying they happened when my hubby had days off work.Dr. Hudson prescribed this for me and she told me to give it two weeks and to tell her if it made a difference. I too thought that I would have to live with migraine headaches and chronic sinusitis headaches on a daily basis for the rest of my life. I have suffered with chronic sinus issues for over 20 years. I have had two sinus surgeries within this timeframe. My doctors, ENT doctors, and Neurologist, has tried almost every medicine you can imagine for treatment. Nothing has helped. Many of the meds I am allergic to. I had a severe headache and panic attack about 2 years ago, and ended up in the emergency room, resulting in the doctors determining that I was suffering with a severe migraine which lead to an anxiety attack. I originally purchased this product as a daily preventative for my frequent migraines I was suffering from. My brother, a dietitian, recommended this product because of its anti-inflammatory properties since migraines at their root are caused by inflammation. I have been taking this now for nearly a year, and I take one or two tablets daily depending on what I feel my need is. I have noticed a big difference in the frequency of my migraines. I was having 1-3 migraines every week which brought along nausea, eye pressure, sensitivity to light and noise and extreme fatigue. I am now only having 1-2 migraines per month.In reading the comments, I read that some people have an added benefit of experiencing mood-stabilization effects from this supplement. I wasn't expecting anything on that front, but my friends tell me that they notice a difference in my moods whenever I run out of pills versus when I'm taking them every day. I've noticed a small difference myself in a decrease in irritability and moodiness, so for me I've gotten to experience that bonus impact. Overall, great product and worth the money. I'm so happy that I have found a natural alternative that actually treats the cause of my migraines (inflammation) rather than a pain killer that just masks the pain.

I have been taking this herb twice a day for about three weeks and I can say that it works!As a migraine sufferer for most of my life, I have tried nearly every remedy--prescription, natural, you name it. Nothing has completely eliminated my headaches. Sumatriptan combined with ibuprofen is what I took when I felt a migraine coming on and topiramate (every day) to try to prevent them. This combination was only quasi-successful. During times of stress and fluctuations in barometric pressure, headaches continued to plague me. I needed the pain relief that sumatriptan/ibuprofen provided to get through the day. I often needed this medical relief 3-4 times a week.Since taking the Butterbur Extra, I find I only need one (if that) dose of the sumatriptan a week. I hardly get headaches anymore. And the weather has been just as variable; so have stress levels. The only difference is that I have taken this new herb.I am relieved that I do not have to take as much medication, since I am already on enough medication for other health conditions. I still take my daily doses of topiramate, but the sumatriptan use is way down.I am elated that I discovered this amazing herb. I will use it for the rest of my life. It has improved the quality of my life immeasurably!

This product was recommended by the medical medium books for migraines. This product uses high quality ingredients with no fillers which I appreciate. I get horrible migraines the week before my period every month that last the whole week. It is recommended to take this product everyday in order to prevent migraines. I really wanted this product to work so I have been taking it everyday for a week and a half sadly my stomach has been getting worse Everytime I take it. I am now in so much pain that I can no longer handle taking anymore pills. I am due to get migraines next week so I guess I will never know if this product would have helped with my migraines. I have read that fever few can cause stomach distress so I think I will try to find a product that doesn't contain fever few.
