Was too large for my microwave, but I kept it anyway. It is well made, attractive and makes a great universal lid for pots and pans, and also for putting over a plate to keep the food warm (or the curious cats from giving your food a sniff!)I'm sure it would be great in the microwave, if you have a standard sized oven. (mine is just a little one.)

I have two plastic covers that I use for my microwave food so it would not splatter but I don't even think they are BPA safe and just did not like that going into my food. I love that this is glass! It is rather large so I don't know if it would fit in a small microwave but I have a medium sized one and it fits perfectly. I highly recommend it instead of using those plastic covers or paper towels to prevent splatters in the microwave.

The product has 4 ventilation holes and is made of silicone and glass. The silicone ring is removable, making it easy to clean. However, the inside white square feels like plastic; it is a hard and stiff object. The height of the lid is slightly shorter, and the diameter is larger than my old plastic microwave cover. The square could easily touch the food. I am okay with the lid diameter being larger, but I am not okay with the product possibly having plastic material.

I bought this because I steam veggies in the microwave and needed a big glass lid after my old one broke.This is plate sized, real glass, heavy, and has a nice dome shape to fit over foods like potatoes. It is good quality and works great.

I purchased this and only used it three times. It wasn't High Enough for my food. Worst part was when I went to clean itI had a hard time getting the rubber ring around the whole thing back on again. I don't have time for this. So disappointed because I loved the idea that it was glass and that it had a rubber knob on top.I was in the process of moving and too many things happening in my life so it's sat in my cupboard. I was so excited to find it again and start using it. I wished I would have used it immediately because I would have returned it.

I was looking for something to replace my constantly melting/warping microwave cover. Ordered a glass one and am very impressed with the quality and durability. Should last for many years. Note: as I expected, the cover is much heavier than a cheap, plastic cover.
