The folding seat should hold a person up to around 250 lbs. I'm a welterweight by comparison, so it has no problem supporting my weight. There is a pocket for a small water bottle, a small outside zip pocket big enough for most smartphones (like an iPhone 16 Pro). On the other side where the straps are, there is an open pocket 10 inches wide by 4.5 inches deep. I don't know why anybody would put something in there unless they don't mind losing it, because it's guaranteed to spill out anything you put in there. The zippered main compartment is the size of a 1.75 gallon can, and it's plastic-lined. This would be perfect for a day hike, or for a day out fishing.

This is a bit smaller than I was expecting ( I didn't read the specs just ordered what my wife sent me ) but it is comfortable and my 6'7" 300lbs son has no problem sitting on it.

Better than expected
Bought as a gift and it was very well received! Great for a day hike! Enough storage for drinks, meals and more. You could add cold packs to chill. Not for ice. Perfect gift for the outdoor lover!

I'm a track coach and needed something that could be easily moved but also serviceable. This was perfect it allowed me to have my drinks and snacks for those all-day track meets. It also allowed me to be able to sit down while providing instruction to my athletes while they competed.
