Hot tips fall off when heated
The gun works very well at heating shrink tubing, however, the metal tips fall off when the heat expands the metal. This could be a major safety issue having a 300 degree metal tip fall off while working. I was able to adapt by drilling a small hole through the nozzle and using a set screw to prevent the hot tip from falling off.

Loved this gun until it took a knock on my workbench and stopped blowing heat. Although it came with a two year warranty that still had 18 months on it, the company refused to cover. But I’ve replaced it with a different gun from a competitor that states: “100% Satisfaction Guarantee. Full refund or return guarantee with lifetime free warranty. Beware of misleading temperature in Amazon description
Wrong information about maximum temperature! Description says 650c... This is not true. Manual says 550c

Not fun to have a blazing hot metal piece fall off ...
Works well either hand held or upright on a desk. Only issue I had is some of the tips were a little loose initially. Not fun to have a blazing hot metal piece fall off while working! Gave them a little tweak with pliers and now they're snug.

Great heat gun, especially for the price.
Great product and great value. Have used vastly more expensive heat guns for bending PVC pipe and the AIKOU performs as well or better.
