She knows what she's talking about
To be fair, this is a good book. I only had time to flick through a few pages and it's well written and it's a mixture of what got Beth Mead where she is today and plenty of suggestions and advice for young individual wanting to plot their sporting future. Before the book was taken off me and passed to the person receiving it, I did see that it was nicely laid out in bite sized chunks making it easier for a younger person to read sections or more if they wanted. The real review is from the new owner of this book who thinks that Beth Mead is brilliant, the book is brilliant and it's full of great ideas. You probably can't ask more than that. The writer showed her great talent to the world during the euros in 2022 and she will be greatly missed during the World Cup of 2023. This book is an excellent pathway for any young person considering their future, any gender, any age and any sport.

Good for encouraging getting off the sofa
I ordered this for a football mad girl in the family: she loves the sport and plays for her local team. This book is well laid out in smaller sections so it is very easy to dip in and out of.The way it is written you are able to get straight into it and you can almost feel the excitement of Beth coming off the pages

Great book
This is a really good book. It is part autobiography and part motivational/self-help guide. It is really well presented in manageable chunks interspersed with pictures. This book can either be read cover to cover or dipped in and out of. I don’t think you have to be a football fan to appreciate and enjoy this book as it is about being the best you can be at what ever you choose to do.
