I needed some butt connectors for a wiring project I had planned. Originally I was going to buy just the few I needed but soon realised that it wasn't an economical way at 50p a connector! I decided to go for this 200 piece set for only £15.99; this works out at around 8p per connector, much better value. At this price I wasn't holding out for great quality but I have been pleasantly surprised. The plastic feels very hard but once crimped and heated it shrinks down nicely, creating a permanent bond between the two pieces of cable. The adhesive flows well and I am very confident with the bond produced. The organiser box they come in is also very handy as they all live safely in my toolbox (gone are the days of scraping the bottom for that one piece you desperately need!) You get the following sizes and quantities: Red 90pcs 22-18 AWG Blue 90pcs 16-14 AWG Yellow 20pcs 12-10 AWG Overall I am very impressed with these connectors, buy with confidence!

I was really expecting this to be the usual cheap rubbish that you get and not to really shrink as much as they claim. I was so wrong, this stuff is easy to work with, shrinks so much that it makes a really tight fit nd the added bonus of the glue inside that when it gets hot enough runs to the edge and creates what looks to be a totally water proof seal. I have used this on some wiring connections outside (12v for car charging) and it has stayed waterproof despite some really wet weather, followed by freezing temperature and then by wet weather again. Think I will buy some more of this make in different sizes and colours if it is available.

The tubing comes in many different sizes, it shrinks easily with a lighter but much better with a hot air gun. Very suitable for low impact use, like fitting to the end of ropes to stop fraying, but I tried it to secure rod guides and it broke after a short period.

Really good sleeves. Good shrinkage and tight hold. Much thicker walled than I'd expected at this price. Would definitely recommend them, and will buy again.

Shrinks down well and the adhesive e gives good strain relief and water resistance. When used with fine uninsulated crimp but splices the joint is hardly bugger diameter than the cable.

We ordered the wrong ones but these turned out to be more useful.

overall everything is perfect but it's way too many little sizes millions of them compare to just a few bigger ones
