Best Vacuum Ever
Best. Vacuum. Ever. Honestly, this is a MACHINE. I bought this as I have a super fluffy German Shepherd that sheds for 6 months, twice a year. She produces enough fur to provide a years supply worth of coats. And then you add all of the dirt she trails in from the garden and my living room floor looks like a warzone. That's until I get my trusty Shark out! No hair is safe once she's switched on (I like to call her Shelley). The anti-hair wrap is excellent, in the time I have had her I have not once had to dig bits of hair out or perform minor surgery to try and unblock her. The power is excellent. The ability to adjust the suction power is really useful as she likes to try and destroy my rugs when on full power. And she works just as well on hard floors too! The cord length is generous, meaning I only have to run down the stairs once to unplug her and relocate her upstairs. Super easy to use, highly durable and can take on the worst of the animal fluff - I would highly recommend!

One of the Best & A delight to use!
Over six decades and numerous name brand vacuum cleaners of at least 3 X the cost of the shark, I can honestly say it my Best Buy yet! It’s Small & Compact making it easy to tuck away. It’s Lightweight, so very easy to use. Easy maintenance to keep that beautiful new look. The fact that you can vacuum almost every type of floor covering and then the conversion to a canister vacuum it’s a joy to use on ceilings, drapery, furniture and car. It can deal with my pets moulting and has great suction for such low wattage. It’s a real all in one. Time to get rid of the Dyson -it’s definitely an equal if not better, certainly much easier. The car vac and the canister vac will also go to the boot sale. Such excellent value for money the only improvement I can think of is perhaps a longer hose (8ft ceilings) and a larger dust cup. Filters are quite easy to maintain and no dust or odour in the air. Quite pleased overall

Almost 5 star, but…
Very pleased with this. Our last 3 domestic vacuums have been Dysons, but this seems just as good and better value. I think it’s fairly quiet - certainly better than some. The suction power is tremendous - very impressive performance. We don’t have any carpets, but on the couple of entrance mats it is great, you just have to stop it trying to eat them! On hard floors top rate. Downsides - cable placement seems clumsy, I know there’s a hook on the handle, but the cable always seems in the way when reversing. Also clumsy to me is the handle when using the tools; why the hose size and tool sizes are not compatible I can’t imagine, but there are many occasions when putting the brush directly on the hose end would be so much easier - not as awkward, nearer the work and more accurate in use. And better in confined spaces. As with all these types of vacuum, emptying the dust out is a pain; trying to stop a dust cloud, which is then attracted to the outside of the machine, so it then needs cleaning. But I’m not lashing out £700 on one that does it automatically! But if you’re thinking about it, go for it, its good points far out the not so good. Close but no cigar - well, maybe a small cheroot..

Shark hoover
Absolutely love my recent purchase. Once the hoover had been delivered i decided to put it straight to the test! I vaccumed my carpet with my old one then once id assembled the new shark which was very easy to put together, i went over the same area as i wanted to see if there was a huge difference. The tank is see through so i could clearly see what had been collected just from going over it the once. Fantastic suction and was shocked at how much hair and particles were in the container! It is really simple and easy to empty which is a bonus, i dont need to faff about at all. I absolutely love the modern design to it and the brightness of the turquoise added colour, its not massive either so its great of you dont have much room to store it. The headlight it has is a great feature also because when im hoovering later at night it shows up the bits on the floor that i could of possibly missed. Very easy to use and weight wise very manageable as I cannot cope with heavy ones I have had in the past. It as a nice long cord and very manageable to use on the stairs, I tend to dis-attach the handle and use the handy tool to pop on end giving great results. Overall i would say this is the best hoover i have had and i would highly recommend. I hope this review helps Definitely exceeded my expectation! 5 stars from me.

So worth the money
Before I start my review I must say I have had no product or monetary incentive to write this. I have had a Dyson Upright for many years and been perfectly happy with it. It was expensive when I got it but it owed me nothing when it finally gave up. I seriously considered buying another one but having read numerous reviews comparing Dyson, Vax & Shark I found this half price offer for a Shark Upright so swaying my decision somewhat. The vacuum arrived super fast, very well packaged and not as heavy as others have mentioned. It was quick and seriously easy to put together so I decided to try it out immediately. Normally I would vacuum every other day and as there are only the two of us (early 70's) and we aren't mucky there was never much in the machine but this time I almost half filled the dust container. 5 days later after coming home after a break it picked up so much anyone would think I lived in muck. The anti-hair wrap is good too. Cord length is good, tools are basic ones but you can purchase others. I love my shark (and being an avid scuba diver I never thought I would say that). I would seriously recommend this one to anyone. I paid £169.99 which is really cheap for a Shark

Great Mother's Day Gift!
Okay, I lied. It's a great Mother's Day gift if you want it to be your LAST Mother's Day. But I did buy it for my mother, and she's delighted. The dog likes it too. She's always complained about dog hairs collecting in every nook and cranny, under rugs, caught under the feet of furniture, even collecting behind radiators. Since I bought her this, she still complains, but now she gets to boast about how clean the house is. Until the dog comes in from the garden. It cleans and refreshes the sofa cushions so well that the dog is compelled to mark her territory after every use. In all seriousness, it's a powerful and sturdy vacuum cleaner. Its modular design - being able to remove it from the base, take out the wand, and have a shorter attachment - makes it VERY useful and handy. My elderly mother can use it to hoover above cabinets, reach cobwebs in the corner, and brush the tops of curtain rails with the brushy-bit on the end of the long pokey-bit. She can even take it up the stairs and hoover between all the spindles and dowels, as well as carry it back down on her lap as she's sat in the stairlift. It sucks up dog hair, crumbs, human hair, and even sawdust without issue, and the dust-collector bin-box thing opens from the top AND bottom, making it easy to empty or dislodge any clogs or build-up of material. It has two suction settings for carpets and hard floors (which work well at their respective functions), and there's a suction pressure slide on the handle, which can be useful on delicate items, as well as releasing things caught in the wand. It has FANTASTIC mobility and, although less strong or physically mobile users may find it a bit heavy, it does twist and turn very fluidly without needing a lot of effort. Plus, it's fairly easy to disassemble to change the filters or dislodge material caught in the mechanisms. Moreover, it comes with a convenient little light on the front, so you can see in shocking detail all the dirt and grime you should have hoovered up days ago. Can't fault it. Works well. Big sucks. Loud vroom. Cool light. Extendo-sucky-wand and various funky attachments are great for different surfaces, and also for sucking up hairs directly off dogs who aren't scared of vacuum cleaners. Although successful, I suspect I might not be allowed to recommend using this vacuum to extract a thorn from a forearm.

Awesome hoover
I don’t really have time for a review. I have a very a very active little boy who keeps me on my tiptoes. However for this review I made time because this hoover is outstanding and exceeded my expectations. Upstairs in the bedroom and on the landing we have carpet and the dust I could see in the air every day was indescribable. Well turns out that my previous hoover which wasn’t working anymore properly was taking out only superficial. The small crumbs and bits but in the carpet was a lot of dust. Eh, here comes the awesome part ! I was surprised and shocked to see how much dust I cleaned from my carpet with this hoover. The container was almost full !!! I find it easy to use it and is very qualitative. I like the lights from the bottom and the fact that doesn’t get stuck in hair. My husband has asthma and this hoover did wonders for his breathing. Cleaner and fresher air in this house ! It worth every penny !

No regrets
Vac arrived next day with Prime. So easy to unpack, plug in and go. We were really impressed with the suction power - between myself and the cat, there is a lot of hair/fur shed on our floors - the Shark picked up so much more than our previous Vax. Before ordering, I was confused about the weight after reading other reviews. It definitely feels lightweight to me; but then with the powerful suction on carpet, then it can feel heavy to move. Anyway, I have minimal arm strength and didn't struggle with it. Maybe if I had a mansion my arms would start to fatigue, but not in an average sized home. I'd much rather it be a bit heavier to move and do a thorough job on the carpets, than not pick everything up.
