I purchased this product to manage my 10 month old's unruly hair without exposing him to any unsafe chemicals. Here are the pros and cons that I have found: PROS 1. The product holds his hair. 2. Only a very small amount is needed. 3. I have no concerns about this being safe - it is clear with no concerning odor (it smells like aloe). 4. The product is in an easy to use bottle and the spout turns to lock, which helps to avoid my son making a sticky mess. CONS 1. The product can make his hair look stiff if too much is used. 2. The product wears off quickly if he is rolling around and things rub against his head. For this reason, I carry the gel in his diaper bag and it is easy enough to reapply. After a while, we are back to con #1 though. Overall, I am happy with our purchase. The product does its job. It is kid safe. Since only a small amount is needed, the price is fair for the amount received. I would buy this product again.

Texture was perfect for my toddlers straight, fine hair - added some weight and stayed neat even after drying so it wasn't sticking up at the sides like with other pomades/ hairspray. No sticky or flaky reside, so hair kept it's shape and had movement. Perfect for an active child, and I can still run my hands through my child's hair without it getting fluffy. I misted the hair with water, then put the gel in and then combed it, and it works for us!

The gel holds but if the baby moves a lot it may undo the hairstyle and you will have to reapply. I feel comfortable enough to let my baby sleep with it on. Its also easy to remove when showering. No harsh scent or chemicals so I feel comfortable to use. Ive used it since my baby was 4 months for spikey hair and now that he is 7 months for side sweep and it smells good when applied and no harsh scent. I like that i can carry it on my baby bag, it can be locked to not leak. I will definitely order again and keep using until my baby is older.

My one-year-old son has very fine curly hair, so without this gel it looks pretty messy. This hair gel smells great and isn’t too sticky. It goes on easily and dries without feeling crunchy. It will eventually lose its hold when he sleeps or messes with his hair too much, but I can usually just get his hair damp to tighten the curls back up and reactivate it.

UPDATE: After using for a while, I am not satisfied with this hair gel. It doesn't hold for long and you have to use a lot. Not worth the price. I apply to my boys hair in the morning and when they come home from school their hair look terrible. It's all natural, but why will I pay top price for something that doesn't really work? I will be looking for another natural product and will definitely not try any other products they make because I am very disappointed with the customer service. Sent email few times and never got a response. Got this hair gel for my little boys and just tried today. Very happy that works for us! I like the fact that it does not leave a residue to the hair, and after a few hours their hair was soft but still hold their spike hair. Just what we needed. Definitely will come back for more.

VERY light weight. Only enough hold while your put it on and pick up hair or do whatever. Then as it dries most of the hold goes away and a tiny bit stays. I used it for my sons long hair and he has Alot. Maybe this product is better for babies who have hair but not a full thick head. It kept his fly aways tamed and help me do his man bun or his side swept hair but as it dried it would not really be a strong gel hold

This is just what i was looking for. excellent ingredients and is not damaging my sons hair at all! It is light hold, so it does the job of achieving his style - it does wear out after some time but that is not an issue for us. Love that it doesn't turn his hair into a rock that covers him in chemicals and nastiness when he washes it out in the shower. I will buy this again and based on the quality of this product, and am likely to purchase other products from this line.

I purchased the Hair Gel for Kids | Light Hold under the impression that I was getting a two units for $14.99. However, I only received one unit, and this was never the case for the whole year that I had been using it. Not only was this falsely advertised, but the product itself is nothing special. The gel barely provides any hold, even though it's marketed as a "light hold." It’s flimsy and doesn’t last long at all. For the price, which now only comes with one unit, it is definitely not worth it. I wouldn’t recommend this product or the company based on this experience. I am looking for hair gel elsewhere from now on.
