Works Great On A Wood Telephone Pole
This is a heavy gauge fitting of professional quality and includes hardware for walls and metal poles. I purchased this item to mount a new LED floodlight to a telephone pole I installed years back near my concrete driveway parking pad, for this purpose and a PTZ camera I have there. The previous light was a HPS light that used a different mount. This mount installed securely and quickly using two large galvanized bolt head screws and washers I had purchased. It actually took longer to remove the old mount than it took to install this new one - and this one looks better.

Had to buy another! It's great!
This thing is absolutely perfect and is really well made! I had to buy another one because it is such a good bracket. I actually tried to Force this bracket to bend just to test it's tolerances when I screwed on my light and it would not! It is very thick steel and I am extremely pleased with this bracket. Absolutely worth the purchase price as it is very sturdy and extremely easy to install. The only thing I'd recommend is if you have to offset the wire like I did make sure you drill your hole at the base instead of towards the center so you can slide the wire through the bracket and out of the top. Absolutely a great item.

They work but fit is pretty sloppy on the female portion
Giving these 4 stars because they were easy to install and seem to of okay build quality. I did expect these to be a much closer fit but feel they were a little sloppy. That could be due to the other parts, so decent product.

Heavy duty, well made
This is a well made bracket. Heavy gauge metal. I used it with an adapter on top of a t-post so I could mount a street sign that needed a round post to slide onto. This is designed for a much stronger use than just a sign!
