I’ve been a professional photographer for 20 years, unfortunately my college education was very focused on western photography. I had no idea what color was for until I studied this book. I also had no idea what India smelled or sounded or felt like. If you don’t know his work you might want to check it out. I like RS's style. It's a mix of layering, natural framing, documentary, travel and juxtaposition. And the colors are really appealing. Collector's item!

Purchased for my father who has a strong interest in the people of India. He loved it. This book focuses on the people rather than the places.
