I’ve spend more money than I care to admit on finding the perfect vitamin c serum in the past. For whatever reason, they just didn’t work, either because the product itself was horrible or it just did nothing for my skin. I’m so glad I took a chance with this one. It is honestly the best vitamin c I’ve ever used. It behaves a lot like *the* holy grail serum people rave about, but at a fraction of the cost. Absorbs nicely. Give it a couple of minutes to dry down properly and it plays fine with moisturiser and foundation. It makes my skin glow, like I can absolutely tell the difference when I’m not using this. And it has worked with evening out skin texture. Downsides: it does have that strong ascorbic acid smell but it does disappear when you put it on the skin. It’s strong; might not be best for those with sensitive skin. Overall, incredible product for the price.

Best value for money Vitamin C serum. I’ve repurchased this serum many times before from Amazon and it comes fresh and clear every time. It’s a serum which I’ve found to give brightening and effective results almost immediately and layers well with my other skincare. I have dry skin but I find this product soaks into my skin quickly as it’s very watery and doesn’t irritate my skin. One thing to note is that because Geek & Gorgeous tends to make their products in batches, the serum doesn’t last long. However, if you keep your vitamin c serum in your fridge and take out a small amount each time, then it’s no issue. I’ve got a smaller 5ml bottle which I pipette the serum into and keep refilling as I need from the original bottle. This helps keep the product lasting for awhile. A small price to pay for such a good value product.

I’ve tried quite a few vitamin C serums and this one has become one of my favourites. The texture is super lightweight, sinks in quickly, and doesn’t leave my skin feeling sticky or oily. After a few weeks of use, my skin looked brighter, smoother, and a bit more even overall. It layers really well with the rest of my skincare and sits nicely under makeup too. One tip: keep the bottle in the fridge after opening to help keep the vitamin C fresh for longer. I use it in the morning before moisturiser and SPF. For 30ml, I think it’s great value for money and feels much more expensive than it is. Really happy with it so far!

It’s gentle and non irritating, doesn’t have a strong odour. This was my second order of Geek & Gorgeous C-Glow. I’ve tried Timeless before and I prefer G&G. The only downside, for me anyways, is it’s inconvenient for me to get and options are limited: I order from Amazon UK but it’s about 3-4 weeks shipping to Canada (and a bit pricey) and G&G itself uses DHL which has exorbitant fees. Also, my last order I ordered two C-Glow’s and Amazon sent one C-Glow and one Stress Less (attached photo). I keep my vitamin C serum in the fridge so unfortunately I only noticed this months later when after finishing the first bottle I went to grab the second one from the fridge and uh-oh, what is this? Both packages are designed the same. Amazon missed it, I missed it initially. I haven’t ordered this product from anywhere else so it’s with certainty where the mix up occurred. Unfortunately, this means I’m all out now with no means of getting it again quickly. One less star for Amazon messing up the order, one less star for the company packaging.

The best most affordable version is L-absorbic acid on the market! The ingredients are almost a perfect dupe of the skinceuticals serum! Amazing find, highly recommend.

As I had used vitamin c serums in the past that broke me out, I was a little bit hesitant to buy this vitamin c as I didn't want to waste £12 on a product I wouldn't use. Fortunately, my skin has been loving this serum so far. I've not noticed any irritation but my skin feels a little warm after applying it. It's a very watery serum that absorbs quickly, leaving my skin glowing. 15% vitamin c with vitamin e & ferulic acid is the gold standard, so for £12 this serum is incredible. I would much rather pay £12 than an eye-watering £165. It smells a little bit like 'hotdog water' like vitamin c serums I've used in the past but much less than the other ones. I decanted 10ml into a small dropper bottle I keep in the bathroom (Geek&Gorgeous recommends this) and the rest is kept in the fridge to slow down the degradation of the vitamin c so it will last longer (the serum is clear so you know it's fresh and will last a while before needing to worry). I've not been using it for long so I can't comment on the long-term benefits but I expect to see a reduction in PIH, softer and bouncier skin and protection against environmental stressors that could worsen acne. This review will be updated in time.

Hi, I tried this product only once, and my skin started itching and burning. Please don’t use this product if you have acne or sensitive skin. I’m trying to return it, but it’s not eligible under the return policy. I feel stuck now since I spent £24 on this product after reading all the positive comments.

Llevo tiempo usando este suero y estoy encantada. La relación calidad/precio es de 10. Es una fórmula muy ligera, casi como agua, que se absorbe enseguida y deja la piel luminosa, más uniforme y con ese efecto “buena cara” que todas buscamos. Hay que guardarla en el frigorífico y, si no me equivoco, dura unos 2 meses. Pero a diferencia de otras marcas más caras (tipo La Roche-Posay), cuando toca tirarla porque se ha oxidado, no duele tanto, porque el precio es mucho más asequible. Y lo mejor: nunca me ha causado irritación ni reacción rara, cosa que sí me ha pasado con otros sueros de vitamina C. Es ideal para pieles sensibles, y que al llevar ácido ferúlico y vitamina E, potencia el efecto antioxidante sin añadir grasa ni pesadez. También ayuda a mejorar el tono desigual y a prevenir el daño ambiental, algo que se nota con el uso constante. Si estás buscando una vitamina C eficaz, bien formulada y que no te vacíe el bolsillo, esta es una opción fantástica. Yo ya la he recomendado a varias amigas y todas han repetido.
