Modelones Poly Nail Gel Kit 8 Colors Rosy Pink with 48W UV/LED Lamp

I haven't done a review on here in a long time but I decided to do it on this product because it is amazing! This was my first attempt at using poly nails and it came out way better than expected. I started out with a tortoise shell design using the clear polygel formula as my background. Just for an FYI it was meant to have a little bit of a rougher texture not a smooth one after layering to give it a natural feel. I absolutely love the way it came out. I also want to point out that I have natural nails that are much longer than average. For anyone who is wondering if this product can be used with longer nails; natural nails. It definitely can be you just have to kind of tweak it a little bit if you want to completely leave the nail without trimming at all on the underside. I will allow the product to naturally come off without force so that I don't damage my natural nails but once again you definitely can use this product with natural nails easily. That is actually the reason why I ordered this product because I was looking for something that would allow me to extend my nails whenever I wanted to without having to compromise my own. Is going to protect the nail more than if I was doing it acrylics off and on which in my past experience has damaged my nails over time when I really don't have to do any of these extensions because I have natural nails in the first place. It's fun for me like I'm sure it is for a lot of other people so this is why I was looking for an alternative to going to the salon. I would rather do it myself. The product is very easy to apply even for myself as a beginner so if you are skeptical about using something like this because you may think it's a little hard to use it's definitely not. It's very straightforward and you'll figure it out very simply. It may take a little practice if you've never touched any nails at all. I will say that it took me a few hours to do which I was not expecting but that is only because I have never done it before and now I know exactly what to do going forward. Try it you will love it! I will definitely be ordering more. This kit was just enough for me to start off with. The clear nail tube I may have used a little bit more than I needed to because I'm learning so I used almost an entire tube but not the full tube. I say that for the person that is thinking about the purchase and how much you'll get. It exceeded expectations. Everything in this kit is great. I love the clip that comes with it. Very useful when it might pop up before you can get it under the lamp. Like I said I will definitely be ordering more. I'm very happy with this purchase!

I took one star off cause the clip broke but overall happy w the set to learn w as a beginner. Some tips for ppl saying the nails came off: *The nail file included isn’t the best but make sure to file your nails well - don’t forget to file the sidewalls too *Wipe your nail well w alcohol to remove the dust and any oil. ***Follow the directions and wipe your brush on a towel after dipping in the slip solution to spread the gel. This is important cause the gel won’t bond right if you use too much *When they say pick a size bigger regarding the form they mean one that covers the nail wo pressing

While this does come with a learning curve, I will say I am very happy with this polygel kit. All of the products are small sized but you can definitely get more than a few uses out of them. Perfect price for practicing for the first time. The dual forms have all different sizes although I wish there was one slightly larger thumb size. I used the white gel to create a few milky white shorter manicures, and one longer one for the base of my 4th of July nails. I used the pink shade on my mom and they were beautiful. I might invest in some sandwich dual forms, but you really cant beat the price for this kit if you are just dipping your toes in for the first time. I found that they lasted longer than 3 weeks with proper application (and a few youtube tutorials later). Be aware that with proper application, if your nails are still adhered like mine are, an e file was pretty much necessary to get them off without damaging your nail bed. I'm aware you can file the top and probably soak them off somehow, but I feel like the e file was the best removal method.

This is good to practice with. However, all of the gels are see through and don’t last long. The longest I’ve been able to make the last is a week. The base and top coat are great. The brush just falls in two and does not hold together like it is supposed to. Everything else in the kit was fine.

I'm going to start this review by saying there's a learning curve to this product but how easy to use and learn this new skill directly correlates with your willingness to learn and the patience you need to practice. The more you do, it becomes much easier. You might mess some nails up (even after some successful trials) but once you get the right amount of product to use in each nail size... you are golden. THE REASONS I'M GIVING THIS A BAD REVIEW 1. is because it is a scam... Do you think you are getting a deal? *NO*. and more than the money… I’m upset because I took into consideration: what the kit came with, colors and price… The only reason I got this kit instead of the other one (I liked the other set/brand colors more) was because I thought I was getting 42% off the original price (I paid $39.99). If I knew they arranged the product listing to always be $39.99 I would have gotten the other option. So, be aware they play with the price and they aren't honest. Choose the colors you want! they are lying to you about the price and discount. 2. Made me even madder that the colors were not as they were shown... Do you see that brown-looking one? is more almost purple, so pale and transparent. A friend who after seeing my first nails try wanted to get the same set, so the colors shown and compared... was shocked. She didn't not expect a mistake like this woulc happened on an amazon listing (She didn't buy this one, she bought . Do you see that orange-red right next to it? It looks more like a pink orange and is not as heavy of color as it is really soft, waay more transparent than expected, and not at all the shade. Do you see both the glitters? not at all what I thought I would get since the glitter shapes and how transparent they really are don’t show well in the picture but they are not close at all. I'm looking to get the colors from the option/brand I mentioned above. Please don't base your decision on buying until you know this. I know I would have purchased the other option instead of this one. ••• *SUGGESTIONS BEFORE BUYING* ••• Look up some shorts or videos to see the techniques some people use. Have product remover, acetone, cotton pads for soaking, a nail drill, water, time, and a comfortable area to practice.

My first attempt was a mess the backsides came out super thick picture is of my 2nd attempt and 1 week worth of wear. I love the way they came out this time. Make sure to not use too much slip solution and thin out back side before putting under lamp to cure. An electric nail filer helps a lot too

O produto não é bom, o polygel é muito molenga o que atrapalha demais pra moldae as unhas. O vendedor foi bastante desleixado, pois a caixinha chegou sem lacre, o gel rosa veio aberto sem o lacre, o pincel estava sem o protetor de cordas que estava solto pela caixa, alguns tips estavam sujos e o amolecedor estava usado. O top coat e a base tb, Ou seja, não vale a pena e me senti lograda! Enfim, vivendo e aprendendo! Fiquei com o produto, mas nunca mais comprarei nada dessa loja e não indico para ninguém!
