Just finished installing this trap. I purchased earlier this year but didn't have time to install until today. It is a good idea to use a transparent trap so you can keep the condensation trap clean/cleared while you are running the AC. Our AC unit is twenty plus years old and I have managed to keep it going over the years, but I couldn't get a good view of the condensation trap. Also, this trap makes keeping it clear/cleaned all summer long while running the AC unit. I would recommend this product to my family members and friends.

The system in my new house didn't have a Ptrap and was losing air through the drain pipe. This fixed it. It looks professional. You need pvc glue, or some connections might leak.
