Appropriate for use on top of propane gas grill grates that gets to 500 degrees? I need something like this with smaller squares for grilling burgers.

Sturdy and quality item

Very durable well made and sturdy cooking grates. They are defiantly not flimsy. The quality is worth the extra price. The size will not take up the entire grill and is perfect for grilling smaller things ( like onion slices) that might fall through the larger grill grates.

Foldable?

I ordered the foldable, hinged version. What arrived was two separate pieces, not a hinged assembly. That feature was the reason for my purchase. A little disappointed by the misrepresentation. Otherwise, it seems sturdy for its intended purpose.

Use this on my Japanese hibachi grill

I swapped out my cast iron grate on my Japanese style hibachi with these. The smaller holes allow me to grill smaller pieces of meat/veggies without fear of it falling through. Cleans up great. Would buy again.
