Love this powder
I used this powder in many things for added flavor. Coffee, matcha, oatmeal, and yogurt so far. Perks up and adds a great taste to anything. It is very versatile. The powder is a deep color just like the picture and tastes like a high quality ingredient. It is expensive but will last a while as it doesn't take much to obtain the desired flavor. Would recommend it.

Great for ice cream!!!
I got this off of a USDA search: Researchers from the US Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Agricultural Research Service (ARS) have shown some freeze-dried berry powders – especially freeze-dried strawberry powder – can act as outstanding stabilisers in ice cream and other frozen dairy desserts. Freeze-dried strawberry powder is said to be so effective as a stabiliser that frozen dairy desserts with it included will maintain their shape even after reaching room temperature, according to ARS Research Food Technologist, Cristina Bilbao-Sainz. Without a stabiliser, ice cream – homemade or commercial – can become crunchy with the growth of large ice crystals. Stabilisers also slow down melting, prevent wheying off (the leaking of a clear watery serum), help avoid shrinking during storage and increase perception of creaminess. Standard stabilisers such as sodium alginate, guar gum, iota carrageenan, xanthan gum and carboxymethyl cellulose are commonplace. But people tend to react negatively to these unfamiliar, chemical sounding names when they appear on an ice cream label, assuming these must be artificial ingredients, according to the researchers. “We discovered that some of the freeze-dried fruit powders – especially strawberries – completely prevent the melt-down of dairy frozen desserts similar to ice cream made with whole milk, whole whipping cream, sugar and skim milk powder,” Bilbao-Sainz said. “Freeze-dried berry powder will absorb moisture from the premix base, improving its stability and texture to the point where the frozen dessert will keep its shape even after ‘melting’ to room temperature.” This is said to be likely due to the fibre in the berry powder becoming completely hydrated, which contributes to an increase in viscosity and resistance to melt-down, she explained. In Bilbao-Sainz’s testing, adding 3.5 percent of either strawberry, raspberry or blackberry freeze‐dried powder reduced the water available for ice crystal formation during stirring and freezing, preventing crystal growth and slowing melting. Strawberry powder was the best stabiliser, completely preventing melt‐down, followed closely by raspberry. While blackberry powder prevented the frozen dessert from wheying off, the foam structure still collapsed so it lost its original shape. Blueberry powder did not prevent melt-down or ice crystal formation during refreezing, and the frozen dessert showed a little wheying off. This isn't strawberry; it's raspberry, so it should work well in the machine. Love that it will provide bulk, fiber, and structure to the ice cream. I'll come back and review after I've actually made it; a birthday is coming up next week and this is the favorite flavor of ice cream...crossing my fingers!

Delicious but full of gritty seeds
Wonderful, fresh, delicious, natural fruity flavor. Tastes like I just picked them! But the seeds are very gritty. Maybe find a way to pulverize the seeds into a fine powder, or offer a seedless option. It's not a pleasant surprise to choke on a bunch of seeds at the end of enjoying such a deicious drink.

Yummy and different
Rumor is black raspberry helps encourage stem cells. Hopefully it’s true. Regardless this powder taste great in my smoothies and brushed over ice cream. It’s important to me that it’s organic and healthy. It certainly easy enough to add to foods and desserts. If it is a superfood I’m set. If it’s not, I’ll just enjoy the good taste.

Improved digestion and gut health.
I use this in my morning plain whole milk Greek yogurt and it has improved my gut health, better digestion. To me the yogurt has a strong taste and while I don’t taste raspberry it helps mellow the taste and adds a pleasing pink color. Using 1 teaspoon a day, seems to provide at least 3 months worth, so although it’s expensive it’s in the same cost range of probiotics I also use. This has definitely been a beneficial discovery for me.
