Any standard drill bit turned slowly. Secure the piece firmly so as not to grab when drill bit breaks through, because it could shatter. All plastics tend to grab.

Q: Light transmittance - the polycarbonate version of this says it had 88% light transmittance. What is the light transmittance of this acrylic tube?

That seems about right, its pretty clear but the curve takes away some.
