Helped my dry eyes plus a positive side effect of firmer facial skin
I'm relatively young to have dry eyes but have had dry eyes since I've been in my 20s. I can't wear contacts because of the dry eyes. 30 years later, my problem has increased and in the past 6 months or so, it's bothered me to the point to where I can hardly read at night. I've read at night to go to sleep ever since I was a teen and to not be able to read is honestly devastating to me. I have insomnia and not reading only makes it worse. I bought a box of these Omega 3 supplements and also the Retaine flax oil. Within a week of taking these, my eyes were much better. I did not take both of them at the dose it recommended. I cut it in half because I was taking each of them. I made more of an effort to get more than 5 hours of sleep per night and that has helped a lot also. What I didn't expect was for my skin to feel younger and more tight but it did. What I didn't like was the cost, though, and I tried to substitute another Omega supplement for this one. I don't feel I'm having as good of results now but I don't know whether it's because I ran out of the flax seed oil or because I changed the Omega supplement. Tonight, I compared the new Omega supplements I purchased (Occuvite 50+) with the ingredients in this one. The Occuvite has Vitamin C and neither one of the retaine supplements did. The Occuvite has more Vitamin E plus it also has zinc, copper, lutein, and zeaxanthin but yet it doesn't seem to work as good. I will probably order the retaine OM3 again or the retaine flax and use them at half dose while I also take the Occuvite to finish it. It only has 250 Mg of Omega 3 in it. Maybe the lower dosage of Omega oil is the cause of the Occuvite not working as well as the retaine. (?)

Great product.
I used a prescription medicine for dry eye. My eyes were red all the time. This is 100%better than expensive prescriptions.

Excellent if you have MGD.
Dry eye caused by MGD. This is the best eye drop I have tried. Works for me over night.

Awesome product, weird price fluctuations
This product was prescribed for me by an eye doctor specializing in treating dry eyes. It works! and that isn't the only benefit. My tear production is up and my meibomian gland function has improved. I am also experiencing a general "youthening" effect in my entire body, everything from reduction of facial and neck lines to increased vaginal secretions (I'm post menopausal). Even my saliva is thinning which is causing less dental plaque. The only thing holding me back from giving up that 5th star is the price fluctuation. In the 5 months I have been buying this product once a month, the price has gone from about $23 up to almost $30 and back down almost to $21. That's a 30% difference between the high and the low. I will continue to purchase this product because it is literally working wonders for me but it would be nice to see some stability in the price.

Helpful for dry eye
I started taking the Omega 3 Supplement about 6 months ago and have noticed an improvement in my very dry eyes. I would recommend Omega 3.

Much less aftertaste than other brands
I’ve never been able to tolerate omega 3 supplements because of the aftertaste. I’ve had other brands that are more expensive and also use orange to diver up the natural flavor. This brand, though, causes significantly less aftertaste than those brands.

Tentatively pleased
I have both blepharitis and meibomian gland dysfunction resulting in a fairly severe case of chronic dry eye. A few months ago, I began treating my dry eyes with Retaine MGD eye drops and the instant relief was tremendous. I then went through Lipoflow which improved the quality of the lipid component of my tear film by about 50%, incomplete due to partial atrophy of the glands. Between the two, my eyes have become very comfortable most of the time. I am taking the Retaine OM3 Omega 3 Supplement to support the function of my meibomian glands. Hard to say whether or not they are doing me any good. Perhaps my eye doctor will be able to tell me more when I go see her in a few weeks for the first time since I began taking these supplements.
