If you do a lot of riding, inline adjusters are really a must. Cables flex over time making brakes mushy and gears rattle. It's nice to be able to simply reach down and fix the problem mid ride with a quick twist instead of re-tensioning cables with a screwdriver at the brake or derailleur which invariably frays them after a few adjustments. As they will add length to your cable runs, it's best to add inline adjusters when recabling or building a new bike.

I am keeping for future use, but found the opening too large for shifter cable housing. Maybe work for brakes? Anyway, I also ordered similar product from SRAM and it works well enough. They do look good.Would be good if detail dimensions were shown -- of course I would not have ordered had I known.

I bought this for my son’s rear derailleur. His doesn’t have an adjustment. It’s always nice to be able to adjust tension at the derailleur and the shifter

Will not grip ferule, drilled and pinned it with an 0.016 dia Titanium wire. Lots of time spent to make it work.
