Makes a good tegu/reptile enclosure.
So I got the 10x5 for an unconventional reason. My tegu needed a new upgrade because her old wood enclosure was to water damaged. Had it for a month so far and it has been good. Heat keeps trapped inside very well and I have one of the drawstring holes on the ceiling on her cool side left open so it has a good temp gradient were itโs 90f on the warm side and 80 on the other side. With daily misting Iโm able to keep the humidity high around 70%. For comparison the room the grow tent is in stays around 74f and has 50% humidity and is located under two of the A/C vents. The first year I had her I had a 4x6 vivosun grow tent that she managed to break out of four times by ripping though seams and once by busting out the mesh window. I had sworn off using a grow tent after that but budget was tight and she needed a new enclosure asap, so I wanted to try again but definitely wanted a different brand. The fabric and stitching is so much more sturdy with the spider farmer. And I love that the viewing windows are up high where she canโt reach and because the Velcro is so strong Iโm not to worried about her ripping her way out of the bottom ones (plus she doesnโt know they are windows/ventilation since I havenโt opened those ones) It was easy to set up and once the fabric was on the frame it became very sturdy. I also love how many top bars there are it makes it easy to space out all the basking lights and uvb bars she needs. I did have to zip tie down the cross bars though since they kinda just rest on the frame and I didnโt want to risk any of them popping off and falling. I think the only feedback I could give is it would be nice to have Velcro or a clip on the edge of the doors and the outside of the sides so that when I open the flaps I could fold them out of the way and attach them so that they donโt just hang bunched up in the front. But thatโs an easy fix I can add myself. Considering an 8x4x4 pvc enclosure would cost $2,500 this is a much more affordable option. Plus itโs bigger and I can walk into it so I can maintain everything easier and pick her up out of there when needed. Perspective of the pictures might make it look smaller than it is but Salem here is close to 4 feet long

My favorite indoor tent
This is a well thought out design for a grow tent. The zipper is thick and reliable. The double Velcro for wires to go from inside to the outside pocket is perfect. The whole thing is smart. Easy to put together with the instructions but I did watch a video. My next grow tent will be a Spider Farmer.

Seems to be great...! ๐๐๐
So this is my 1st grow tent so I can't speak to features that other brands have. Or what a professional grow tent is supposed to look like. But It check marks all my needs that this diy home gardener needed to grow vegetable seedlings and a handful of tomato plants indoors year round. The material seems thick and durable, I've had zero pin hole leaks through the material or zipper. I verified this with a complete black room with the grow light on "mars 4x4 grow light" and zipper closed. Has a viewing window. Velcro seems durable. It has a removable waterproof lining for the bottom. Easy to read instructions and easily built with a single person. Zipper is durable I haven't had any issues of it struggling to zip up or down. Zipper has a flap to prevent light leaks. And the door has strap attached to the inside to attach to the outside side of the tent to hold it open. Plenty of ports to run wires and exhaust. Different size exhaust ports as well. The ports have double pull string openings. Generates good negative pressure. When sealed and with exhaust system on you can visually see the sides of the tent suck and bow inward from the suction. Over head support beams are sturdy that hold the light. The tent itself is not wobbly but very rigid. The only cons I would say is that is the viewing window is mesh not plastic film. The air circulation ports on the bottom as well as the viewing window require some extra work to get them to seal completely without leaks because they Velcro on. I personally don't use the bottom covers as I try to keep it in the low 70โฐF's for my plants. But if you don't get the seal flush it crinkles and light leaks from the uneven sealing surface. It helps to have a second person put outward pressure from the inside when you attach it to get it flush. For this exact reason I don't use the viewing window but I'd rather just unzip the door and look in. I rather not mess around for 5min getting the Velcro reseal just because I wanted to see my plants. A 30sec unzip and re zip is more convenient for me. But I dont regret the purchase and I'm now a Spider Farm fan. I will definitely be buying again from this company, hopefully soon!

Great for short season growing
Great little grow tent. Very durability and great value for the money the lighting also is saturated well. I live in Utah and the growing season is very short for certain vegetables.. been great starting my peppers early then getting them out there in spring. Also great way to keep the bugs away without pesticidesโฆ no squash bugs if you grow them in a tent! The hook ups for vents and the hook upโs for fans is very nice.

Excellent quality, slightly smaller than competitors
I'm only giving 4 stars because this tent is slightly smaller than the 2x2 that it is replacing. My 22" x 22" reservoir fit perfectly on the floor of my old tent, but does not fit in this tent. This tent measures 21" x 21" between the bars. If you are looking for something that will fit perfectly in a 24 inch x 24 inch footprint on your floor, this is the one for you. If you are looking to maximize the interior space of your tent, or like me you have equipment that may not fit, you should measure everything carefully before you purchase. Aside from that one negative, the build quality is excellent and the flap that covers the zipper is a nice touch to keep light out of the tent.

Durable tent
Great tent, really love the height on this one, the material is definitely more durable on this spider farmer then the other grow tent I have from a different manufacturer, I would definitely buy spider farmer grow tent before any others after I seeing this one. The zippers are more durable on this tent

This is the one!
If you are trying to figure out which one to buy, trust me this is the one. zipper is good. canvas material is strong and stout. interior mylar type material is great quality and has a squared pattern. mounting options for lights is slim but my setup works great and nothing a few zip ties or chain link can't solve. poles are strong. i don't know for sure if they are steel or aluminum, but they are strong. i think steel. setup took about 20 minutes. im happy with the sturdiness because i was concerned my kids my fall into it when playing. but it's strong enough to absorb them bumping into it. the price was about $25 more than a no name brand with same size, similair build. but the spider farmer one just looks better. i got the 24x24x48 size. it feels bigger than it is inside, but doesn't take up much room outside. I almost didn't buy this one to save the $25 but last second i decided to get this one. glad i did.

Awesome
I bought this 3x3 Spider Farmer grow tent and itโs amazing. I see what people are doing that have a โdefective tentโ no matter if itโs the zipper or light leaks from the Velcro areas that are absolutely preventable. When putting it together itโs absolutely essential that you take your time putting the tent on the frame because itโs a tight fit and you could bend the bars or mess the zipper up if you force it. Once itโs arranged mostly around the frame if youโll make sure the top is fitted over the top part of the frame before attempting to get the bottom/ zipper area on and youโll have zero issues and itโll go together easily vs fighting it and tearing something up in the process. I like that the areas that have Velcro vents and the front window are easily adjusted if you know how to work Velcroโฆwhich some donโt seem to know how to when reading reviews. I have nothing bad to say about mine so far but itโs only been a week. I did buy some zipper lubricant so that the thing glides like butter and is no different than a really good tent zipper and will last if taken care of etc from what I can see so far. I have 1 little pin hole that I can see light through if itโs totally dark (so dark you canโt see your own hand) but I am not worried about that at all since plants arenโt โthatโ sensitive in my experience. I would have waited for a good sale and would have been better off buying a kit vs a little at a time like Iโve been doing but Iโd order everything that I have from Spider Farmer again. I would recommend this for anyone looking to grow indoors and has a place to put one. It seems well built and I like the corners and how they connect.

1st time grow project
I wanted to provide an updated review. I'm a 1st time cannabis combi grower for personal use and recreation. I'm 62 years old and have always wanted to attempt growing. Having invested a fair bit of time in reading the challenges the plant presents to grow outside, which was my original intent. However, due to abnormal weather conditions I was forced to grow inside as well, when weather was not permitting. Most of the material I've read or seen of, fortunately leans more towards inside growing, commercial for recreational. A side from the nutrients it requires to grow, the environment as to which it needs to survive and provide a healthy harvest, became a point of concern. So, I started with a 3x3 Spider Farmer tent, love the thing. They know what is needed for this type of growing. They ensure all aspects of the grow goes successfully, from start to finish, they do a great job of that. I had to upgrade to a 4x4 and an 80" height due to the growing outside in conjunction with the inside grow. The plants are getting a 50% - 50% split time between inside and outside grow time. Last year it was a drought and this year we're near flooding. Wow So, lights, lights, and lights. I thought I was going to lose my mind. Having never done this and doing my best to keep this economical, I'm on a quest for a solution. What I'm presently working with are 4 Vipar-Spectra P2000 and an Aglex K4000, after starting with one Vipar Spectra for the 3x3 and everything just evolved from there. I've literally have taken a 2 day freshly pruned semi stressed plant from the noon sun that had been basking in the sun for a few hours. Took the plant into the tent and with a little arrangement of the lights, the plant was very content, no loss of colour, no wilting leaves, no yellowing and very receptive to growth. I understand that some may rather not have to do all that, however I've read countless accounts of folks having issues with the lights and how their effecting the plants. I ran across many issues and came to the realization that I could have purchased a one trick pony for the price of the 5 lights I invested in. However, the flexibility with the combined control for lighting allows improved tailoring to the plants specific lighting needs for the way I'm growing these. I don't have a canopy as per say. The flowering stage is the finish line and if it's not right then it doesn't matter about the plant, it's going in the garbage, so failure is not an option. These lights are assembled in such a way that multiple methods of control can be achieved. It does generate heat of course but not terrible considering how many lights are in the tent. I use two Vivo Sun 6" oscillating 3 speed fans and an 18" Sunbeam shop fan outside on the lower vent. That's it. My grow tent is located inside my shop that has high ceiling and plenty of ventilation. Not sure how that would work in a house. Might get a bit toasty. Now that the project is looking achievable, we'll see how things from pre-flower to flower stage. Also, it'll be interesting to see how long this equipment will last. So far all is good in paradise. No issues, no complaints. Update, Spider Farmer 4x4 grow tent. 5 star all the way. Just recently purchased a Vivo sun 5x5 grow tent. Apparently, plants can grow quite large outside. After the assembly was completed, a general inspection was in order and after doing a cross comparison to the Spider Farmer product, it wasn't even a close contest. The quality and the attention to detail specifically with regards to light leaks the Spider Farmer was far superior. Such a shame for an American company to design a product and have it manufactured in China and blame them for the lack of quality. It's all about the money, such a shame. Consumers beware, if you are not concerned about light getting into your tent the Vivo Sun could be a solution. For those that require a complete dark tent, I do not recommend the Vivo Sun. Spend the extra 20 to 30 bucks more on a better-quality grow tent. America had some really decent skill in manufacturing, and it kept a lot of people employed, then the (I want to be a billionaire) took over and the loss of pride took place. Everything went to China for the cheap labor; I get that, but at what expense.
