It’s fully modular, making cable management super easy, and delivers clean, stable power—perfect for high-end GPUs. I picked this over others for its future-proofing and reliability, and it hasn’t disappointed. It’s quiet, powerful, and easy to install. The only downsides? A bit pricey and the cables could be more flexible, but overall, it’s a fantastic, worry-free PSU for any high-performance build.

MSI makes quality stuff. My old PC, now 10 years old, has MSI parts that have never failed, so I got even more MSI parts this time around. This PSU has more power than I currently need. I probably could've done an 850. It is very quiet - at least, I can't hear it above the quiet hum of my giant 200mm fans. And this unit has a 10 year warranty. That is the best in the industry, I believe. I like that it is fully modular, so only the cables I need are plugged in. Full disclosure: I made a build mistake and thought I got a defective unit, so did a refund with Amazon before I did a bench test of this PSU, found it worked fine, and then rehooked it up to my PC. The new unit is the one I'll be sending back to Amazon, unopened, because the first one was fine. The only thing I can think of is that, although I checked every cable three times, the power switch connector may not have been fully seated on my MoBo. My case has this weird tiny box around all of those small molex connectors for power, reset, etc. which bundles them together, making them easier to attach to the MoBo, but each one can move a bit inside that box. So it was possible that while the box itself was all the way down when I checked, that the power switch's molex connector was not. Anyway, once that I figured that out, everything has been great.

The modularity makes this PSU very convenient and I don't know how I would have wired up my PC if I had like 20 cables that I didn't need just sitting in the back. Also, the cable quality of the included cables is great; they come with a little bag that you can put the extras into and are decently flexible but not super loose to the point that they just sag (especially important with the GPU cable). You could also buy custom cables but these work just fine. I don't know the stability of the power delivery of this psu but I haven't had a single issue with it so far, so I never really bothered to check. One thing to note, it's a pretty tight fit for my case but I'm pretty sure that's the case's fault and not the psu's, so just make sure it's compatible with the psu slot in your case. (mine is dual-chambered so it had to fit vertically). Overall great PSU, would recommend it.

I'm glad I chose this PSU. It is quiet and works great and was a great deal at the time of purchase. I love the flat cables, they make things easy for cable management. Not much not to like about this case easy removable tempered glass lots of wiring harness just a bow pieces and the tools you need to do an adjustment for your GPU are included and easy to work with once you figure it out definitely recommend it

Had a Corsair 850 bronze before this and it was the minimum requirement for the 3090 TI Suprim. It worked very well for about a year then i slightly overclocked the cpu outside of the easy bios overclock and it just wasn't enough. Thankfully it was a good Corsair PSU so it just turned off power to the whole system instead of frying my rig. Put this beautiful PSU in and everything is working like a dream it all even feels a bit snappier even if its just a placebo. The old PSU is now powering a separate rig with much lower power draws. I'm only a few weeks into having this but so far so good. Will try to update if anything changes or just after i've long term tested it but so far i'm very pleased.

Deathly quiet even on maximum load, a sleek premium look in both the PSU and the packaging, and every cable you would ever need on top of the neat zero fan function during low loads. It faithfully delivers full power to my system without the slightest hiccup on absolutely demanding games (Cyberpunk 2077, Forza 5 Horizon, Microsoft Flight Sim. etc) at their highest settings. In my case, this PSU has to feed a 4090, a 7 7800X3D, 2 AIO pumps, and 8 fans. These parts then have to display the above games at their best settings to a 4k 42-inch monitor. And if you're like me and powering a 4090, just hit that "buy now" button for peace of mind. With ATX 3.0 and a 12VHPWR cable so you can avoid using the 8 pin adapter, your thousand dollar GPU is safe from burning in addition to freeing up potentially 4 8-pin slots you would have had to use. Comes with an insane 10 year warranty to round it all off, you honestly can't lose with this purchase.

PC would randomly shut down and restart constantly with this PSU ever since install. MSI's warranty department is a joke. Not only do you have to cover everything yourself but they also expect your machine to be down for a month while they work on the PSU. Or - you fork over another hundred bucks or so for another PSU. What am i going to do with two PSUs? If the replacement works then why would i warranty the first one if you're not going to refund? I'm happy to say that i switched to Corsair and have yet to have my PC restart.
