No, the set screws are pre-installed and do not include extras.

Are these counterfeit?

I have purchased these not once, but twice. There's nothing that would lead me to believe that these are counterfeit. They're banana plugs, you connect speaker wire to them, connect them to your speaker, done deal. They work great, and are continuing to work great for me and the stereo systems they're connected to. IF you need for further analysis of them to determine they're working capabilities, good luck in finding a lab to do that for you. OTHERWISE, just buy the plugs and try them out. You're not making a huge life-altering purchase, they're not that expensive.
