Black on White Heat Shrink Tube Compatible for Brother Heat Shrink Label HSe-241 HSe241 HS-241 HS241 HSe Label Tape for PT E300 E500 PTE550W, 3/4''x 4.9', 17.7mm x 1.5m, 2 Pack

These work just fine.

Hard to find what is/isn't compatible with so many variants. I took a chance and can confirm that this works with the Brother PTouch Edge PE-E105. The 11mm version fits over ethernet and shrinks down nicely, remains flexible enough.

We used these on an electrical build and they were perfect for label all 1800 wire connections.

I am reviewing the 11.7mm/.46" version of this product. This printable P-Touch-compatible heat shrink tubing is great for labeling Ethernet cables, and other cables in the (roughly) 1/8-1/4" range. My PT-D600 detects the cassette as a 12mm/.47" cassette, even though it is advertised as 11.7mm/.46". My guess is that the label tubing itself is spooled into the same size cartridges that Brother uses for 12mm/.47" and so that's how it is detected. In any case, a .3mm/.1" difference is a lot better than getting a "cassette type mismatch" error, as another reviewer experienced. These tubes print as well as any P-Touch labels I've used – and I've used a lot of them. Crisp, clear, contrasty text. The cartridges are a little difficult to load/unload into/from my P-Touch PT-D600, due to the thickness of the tube stock having to clear the print head, but I did not at any time get the impression that the cartridge would break my machine. When using this tubing, my PT-D600 wanted labels to be a minimum of 2.5" in length. This is a "feature" of the labeler itself, not these cartridges, but it is something to be aware of just the same. The excess can be reduced somewhat by using the P-Touch Editor, if your P-Touch model supports computer connectivity. And if it doesn't? Just use the left-over pieces as plain heat shrink tubing. The shrink ratio on these tubes is 2:1, which means that the diameter of the tubing will be reduced to no less than half of what it starts out at. Be sure to look at the specifications, prior to purchase, to make sure that what you are buying is not too large (or small) for your application. And like all heat shrink tubing, you should not expect to label factory-terminated cables with this tubing, as you will not be able to slide the tubes over the connectors – they're just not big enough. Overall, a decent product – one that I never knew was "a thing", despite working with P-Touch labelers for about 15 years.

The 11.7 fits great on 14awg and 12awg. It even slipped over small terminals. shrinks at least 3:1. I'll be ordering more in multiple sizes

Good product

He pedido 2 veces esto! Me fascina!

Works

Works with p-touch d400. As printed, text doesnt smudge by fingers. Have not tested if text smudges after heating.

Like most other 3rd party replacement carts I have tried for my Brother label printer, these are just fine. The print quality is decent and seems fairly durable. There's no clear laminate top layer, though, so If you really rub at it aggressively you can wear off the printing. It takes a fair bit of effort, though, so I doubt this will be any big issue in practical use. Said practical use will mostly be for labeling Ethernet cables in my case. For this purpose, they are the perfect size. The shrink ratio is really good. The smallest I've gone with it so far is about 4 mm diameter and it holds just fine. Brother is a little bit weird as far as declaring their printers compatible with the shrink tube stock. The list of devices they claim that will work with it is very small. I own the model PT-P710BT, which is a standalone printer without any built in text entry functionality. It is designed to be printed to from Brother's label design software using a PC or mobile device. It is NOT on the list of devices that Brother claims will work with shrink tube stock, however I can confirm that it works just fine with it. I didn't even have to manually mirror the print output. This is an option in the design software, but surprisingly I didn't have to enable it. The printer obviously identified the cartridge correctly as the shrink tube stock and accordingly mirrored its print output automatically. This has to happen because printing on the shrink tube stock needs to be mirrored relative to printing on the standard laminated label stock. I expect that the ability to mirror the printed output would be required for this stock to work with any all-in-one label printers (with the text entry and composition functionality built in), but I cannot confirm this as I do not own such a printer. If you do have the ability to manually mirror your print output, then these will almost certainly work with your printer. If the print comes out mirrored when you print on this stuff, then you can correct it by enabling mirrored output. If your printer does not have such a function, then all I can say is maybe it will work. The printer might surprise you and mirror its output automatically, but if it doesn't you'll have no way to do it manually to fix the problem. I really wish Brother would be more honest and straight forward about which devices will work with this stuff. One more consideration is that the cartridges are keyed so the printers can identify the type and size of the media that is installed. So there is the possibility that your printer model may outright refuse to even try to print on this stuff if Brother has decided that it should do so. The good news there is that you can just alter the keying on the cartridges to make your printer think it's a supported media type, but it's a bit of fussing about to do it.
