I’m not a ballerina. I got these to keep my toes warm at night but not my feet. They worked great for me!! I move around so much during my sleep that I can’t keep low cut socks on my feet. My feet end up getting too hot anyway. I need just my toes to stay warm. The straps worked great at keeping them on my feet. The straps did not bother me either. The toe box area was wide enough for my wide feet. But I pulled them down so they weren’t right on the tip of my toes. I even wore another thin pair of socks under them one night. That was too warm lol I’d say the quality is great because they are thick. They will last me a long time I’ve been told my idea to use these to keep my toes warm is pretty ingenious lol I don’t have a circulation problem. I have Raynaud’s.

My dancer daughters favorite shoes! Out of all the half soles, this is it for her. It's comfortable and she uses it like crazy. We have to replace it every 6 months or so because of all the wear and tear. She dances 3 hours a day and this is a staple. It's fairly priced and worth it.

My daughter is a competitive dancer and uses these for lyrical and contemporary classes, and they’ve been great. They fit securely on the foot while still allowing the flexibility dancers need for turns, leaps, and floor work. The elastic straps hold the shoe in place well and don’t slide around during rehearsals or performances. Love these…they are easy to put on and have gel grips on the straps so they don’t slide off, they don’t have arch support at all. And they are very thick and take some time to break in. The appearance and nice and very true to skin tone, and the side looks big at first but it ends up fitting nice.

These dance shoes are super comfy and flexible. I use them for ballet and lyrical practice, and they really let your feet move naturally while giving enough support. Full disclaimer, I am not a dancer. I got these because I don't like to do floor exercises barefoot, or with grippy socks alone, so I have been exploring different performance shoes that are a step above socks. However, I am also interested in taking adult ballet classes and I really wanted to try and see what canvas shoes look like/ feel like in person. From a purely aesthetic and build-quality perspective, I find them to be formidable. They come in a plastic bag and they looked brand new, though I wish the presentation was a bit more professional since it was a very generic packaging and there is a lot of competition from a serious-dancer perspective. I quite like the fabric and the suede on the soles, they feel sturdy and like they were made to last. The straps also have silicone on the inside so they will not slip off easily as you dance. What I like the most is that they can be washed (carefully), which is something I value a lot. When it comes to the price, I find that it's a bit steep compared to the full STELLE canvas shoes (under $25, from what I could gather). I am not sure why, perhaps because they are made of real leather or they are handmade and I looked at a more generic one? Who knows, but that is something to keep in mind if you're on a budget. I know a true dancer might burn through these types of shoes very quickly and I am not sure if cheaper compromises quality, so that’s something to think about. I am more familiar with other household brands, even as a non-dancer, and these seem to be mid-range shoes, but I could be wrong. However, from my perspective, these are adequate shoes and I recommend them.

Very good quality, fits good, comfortable to wear, nice, not easily soiled colour (I've taken dark beige)

Es muy hermosa. Su tela es elastica y suave al tacto, se adapta al pie. Los elásticos tienen silicona por debajo, para que no se corran. Las terminaciones de costura son muy prolijas. Vienen en un bolsa tipo siploc para que se puedan guardar. Me quede muy contenta con la compra y mi hija que las usa, más. Gracias!

Everything is perfect

The bottom has a good grip. Soft and easy to turn while still providing stability. Elastic provides a great stretch and works perfectly to keep the turner in place. The turner itself is made of a slightly stretchy fabric that breathes and conforms well to the foot. The inside is soft and comfortable but seems a bit slippery at first, hoping this will adjust as the turner is broken in.
