It is an aromatic and quality hand and body lotion.

Shikai always makes great lotion from their scented to their original borage dry skin formula. This is no different, goes on slightly lighter and always non greasy. I gave this one away because the scent was too feminine for my taste, although refreshing. The yuzu version of this is fantastic.

I bought the Yuzu lotion and this smells so amazing! This is very close to a satsuma smell. I was impressed, because I didn't expect it to smell so good. The lotion goes on smooth and not greasy. You can use it for your body or your hands. Great value for your money and the smell is not overpowering, but just perfect. I will definitely repurchase!

This moisturizer is amazing. I have really dry skin that can become eczema. I put this on my arms right out of the shower. With the shea butter, it feels so soft. The gardenia scent is perfect, not too strong.

HAVEN'T TRIED IT YET, BUT THE SMELL IF NOT WHAT I WAS HOPING FOR.

I have been using ShiKai shower gel and lotion for decades. I love the scent of the cucumber melon so much and I'm so pleased that the company does not appear to have changed the scent profile or products for as long as I've been using them.The lotion is a perfect balance of moisturizing without being heavy and leaves my skin feeling very soft. It absorbs quickly and thoroughly without leaving a greasy or sticky residue. I use it as a year-round moisturizer on hands and body.

If it isn't broken, break it...right?? (NOT the same ShiKai Sandalwood Lotion that made it outstanding.) Why must companies monkey around with something that is (was??) already near perfect??WTH?? What -ever- did they do to this lotion to ruin it?? At one time ( -back when it came in a bottle??- ) this lotion was a knockout with great moisturizing ability and such a subtle, but catchy lingering clean scent. Where -ever- did that outstanding scent go? This newer version is nothing like in the past, somewhat lacking in good moisturizing and definitely missing the uniquely natural Sandalwood aroma I used to SO enjoy.I'm not sure if they've actually changed the formula or if the new tube packaging they've replaced putting this lotion into is off-gasing and now leaching a -very- plastic-y chemical smell into this lotion? Whatever the cause, the buyer better like artificial chemical odors 'cause that's what they're going to get.
