Works Perfectly and Easy to Setup
I purchased this to use with the external HDTV antenna I purchased. It ends up the older model Vizio LCD HDTV I have has a bad digital tuner so it would not work with the antenna. To repair the tuner would have been pretty expensive and not worth the money for such an old TV. But the TV still works so the Vizio support dude recommended one of these units. I did not need anything fancy just something to pick up the stations and send the signal to my TV. This unit seemed to have just want I needed. It came with the RCA cables to connect to the TV but also has an HDMI connection which I opted for since I had an extra cable. The setup was pretty simple. One connection to the TV (HDMI), connect the antenna coax to the unit, power it up and go through the scan process to find the stations. The entire process took me all of about 15 minutes. The remote is pretty simple to use. The on screen setup is a little confusing and the included instructions are not that great, but I found some more information on line on how to setup things like favorites so all is well.Oddly enough it picks up more stations than the newer TV I have that is connected to the same antenna. It also displays information on each station like the scheduled programming, signal strength and other information which is pretty cool.Definitely a good deal for the price and I have no problem recommending this for anyone needing to connect a HDTV Antenna to an older model TV that does not have a functioning digital tuner.

Good device, bad remote
I gave this 4 out of 5 stars because while the tuner works OK, and the recording function works well, the remote is horrible and the instructions are too tiny and sparce.TUNER: I hooked this up to the feed from my outdoor antenna, boosted with a signal amplifier, and it gets 52 of the 56 channels my TV picks up on the same antenna feed.RECORDING: After figuring out the recording functions and learning that all programmed timers get erased whenever channels are scanned for, I finally set up the device timer to record some shows. It did a good job. It takes about a minute to start a timed recording so I've set my timers to include a 2 to 3 minute lead time. The quality of the recordings is great -- the images look identical to what is broadcast.REMOTE: Sadly there doesn't seem to be a way to set chapters, so the skip chapter function is pretty well useless. To advance rapidly through a recording you have to use the fast forward function. It increases 2X, 4X, 8X, 16X and then 32X. Unfortunately the remote control is so tiny and the buttons so very hard to read and the sensitivity of those buttons so extremely unpredictable it is VERY hard to control the fast forward function (or any other button on the remote).INSTRUCTIONS: The instructions are poor. They are printed in super tiny print, the graphics are blurry. Several functions need more information than the instructions provide, including: dpi options, favorites, loop through output, and timeshift.CONCLUSION: A bigger and more user-friendly remote, and a more expansive and larger instruction manual would help this be a 5 star product. But at $30 and 4 stars this is worth buying.

Amazing and affordable Digital TV converter
This is an amazing little box. We cut the cord and switched to streaming services and HD antennas and I couldn't believe there was a "DVR enabling device" for recording and scheduling over the air HD broadcasts. I recorded a 60 minute program in amazingly clear HD quality and it plays back perfectly. Very easy to set up and use. You just need a separate USB drive to record programs.

KORAMZI HDTV Digital TV Converter Box
This review is for the KORAMZI HDTV Digital TV Converter Box. I purchased the box because our cable bill was going up and we decided to cut the cord. I had high hopes for it based on the reviews I read. It was easy to install and it picked up 42 local channels from my small HD internal antenna. The interface is clunky and the remote seems flimsy, The instruction booklet was good as far as it's explanations however it was literally a tiny manual (size wise) and the print was so a small I almost needed a magnifying glass to read it. The screen images in the manual were indiscernible. The software interface was reminiscent of the old VCR set ups with a slightly updated ability to view a days worth of programming so you could see what was going to be on. You have to go to each channel in order to see what's on for that day. I figured for the price, I could put up with the interface. One thing to note, it shows military 24 hour time and there is not an option to change it so if you're not used to using military time you'll have to figure it out. From a tuner standpoint, I didn't have a problem with it. The main thing though was that I wanted the ability to record programs otherwise I would have just used the tuner in my TV. There's a USB 2 port on the front of the box for you to plug an external hard drive into. They recommend you don't use a USB flash drive but an external drive. The drive also must have it's own external power source as the unit will not work with a USB powered drive (it continues to try to reboot if connected). For my first recording I set up the channel and time for a two hour movie. When I went back to review the recording, I noticed that it actually started recording an hour earlier and it showed 3 hours as recorded. It records in MTS format which was fine. You play back the program through the player built into the box.I started the recording and tried to fast forward to the movie. It will allow fast forward up to 32X. Unfortunately it locks up during fast forward and you have to stop it and start from the beginning again. I had to do this about 4 times at various speeds to finally get to the movie. It played OK for about ten minutes then the picture started to get blocky. Then, totally unviewable. I tried multiple recordings with similar results so I decided to change drives. I used one 500 GB drive and a one terabyte drive with the same results. I so wanted this to work but unfortunately the recording and playback features did not work well. Returned it for a refund.

Working Good
Picked up all channels first try, decent price, one thing is that the remote has to be pointed directly to work.
