Worth trying
Firstly I would like to say I take a variety of vitamins and supplements as they have definitely helped me with my overall health and wellbeing.I have read many things about shillajit and have taken it in tablet form in the past...Is a naturally derived product and contains a whole range of nutrients. The taste is quite strong and you should keep it in the fridge once opened...I'm hoping this will help boost my immune system over the winter months as well as my overall health and wellbeing...My advice is to try a tub and see how you get on as well all react differently to supplements.

Black gold
Have had shilajit a lot over the years and it gives you a sort of kick that I cannot quite put my finger on. Like caffeine but without the tense nerve increasing edge that caffeine has. I do personally feel less fatigue when taking this - and importantly, only a small amount, like a drop or a grain of rice, will suffice. Can take that 2 or 3 times a day, but would not go beyond that personally. The tub is very nice and yes as with any shilajit you have to be careful about how you take it out, the tub should always be flat to avoid the resin going in an awkward position and making it tricky to seal again. With regards to expiration it will keep for a long time. Some people do keep it in the fridge, you can if you like and that will probably give it a harder consistency, but personally do not bother. As for this particular product it is the real deal, Siberian shilajit. Best, a small drop as mentioned before, and stirred vigorously into a hot drink. The taste you will get in your tea is not a world away from aniseed, in my opinion, certainly more bitter than sweet and perhaps an acquired taste. As mentioned before, it does reduce my fatigue and boost my energy levels in a subtle but noticeable way. Certainly worth trying.

Nope
I've never tried shilajit before, had never heard of it in fact, but I can safely say that after one sample of this I will not be returning for more. The resin is incredibly sticky and not very liquid so it is hard to get it out of the tub, take a long time to dissolve in hot water and the taste was truly horrible even when sweetened. I then experienced what can only be described as an elevated heart rate, a prickly sensation on my skin, dizziness and heat. Not pleasant.

One for purists!
Anyone here should already be aware of the possible benefits afforded by Shilajit (black gold), the main one being its role in stimulating energy production & blood formation and helping to overcome lethargy, tiredness, and chronic fatigue, via its main ingredient fulvic acid. This is an average to expensive priced formulation and whilst no doubt it is presented in its purest, natural form, the acquired tatse aside (think marmite) the problem I have is measuring the dose. 250-500mg is the weight of about 2-3 rice grains which makes measuring pretty difficult to say the least and in high doses Shilajit can cause digestive problems like nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.

interesting, waiting for results to come.
good shilijat.pretty much like other brands I have tried.mixes well in hot drinks but I personally prefer to eat a scoop on its own.I have not noticed any promised changes but am hopeful about what it is capable of.

A pot of wonderful help for the body.
I love and value Shilajit. I use it very often and am so supported and helped by it.There is no mystery here. We do not get enough minerals because our soil has been low in minerals for over 100 years and they are dropping all the time with modern farming.Shilajit is minerals from a natural source and so replaces what we use up each day and then adds a bit more to help us have energy and good health. It is fabulous and I love this one.Do not go over the amount. Keep it in the fridge after opening. take a break every couple of months and see how good you feel. I am stronger and feel great when i take this .This one seems perfect to me.It is expensive but it gives us minerals in an easy absorb way that we need to keep well and strong .For me that is good value.

Odd product
Probably a market for this that isn't me! I'm not keen on the taste and not clear on the benefits. Interesting and something I'll do more research on.
