What are the dimensions (diamteter) of the balls included in the set?

I needed replacement balls. I purchased 1-inch (or 25mm) diameter wooden balls (used for arts & crafts) and they worked perfectly. I painted the wooden balls with acrylic paint pens and they still worked great.
