Carbona Color Run Remover, Powerful Color Bleed Eliminator, 2.6 Oz, 1 Pack

Was nervous to try this on a vintage top but it had substantial color bleeding on the lighter and colored areas. I tested the inner hemline with a bit of the powder and water, it had no reaction so I tried the rest of the shirt. I dunked it in my solution (used about 2 gallons of water and half a packet of powder) for only a second or two, and immediately rinsed it out. The color bleeding lifted INSTANTLY. I wouldn’t recommend leaving your garment in the solution for longer than a few seconds if there are a lot of colors on the fabric as the runoff water was a bit dark, and may have removed some black dye. After drying however I noticed the colors were pristine and there was no dye bleeding anywhere. I am amazed at how well this works and rinsed out easily with no residual smell. A+ product just gotta use it sparingly!!

This product is amazing! I tried it first in the washing machine on the soak cycle and hot water. It wasn't effective.What workedI dissolved more solution and put a few color stained item in one side of kitchen sink. I poured boiling water over the items, agitated them with tongs and let them sit. They're still soaking. But most of the color stain is gone. I will let them soak overnight. I'm confident that the remaining color stain will be removed from the shirts.The directions called for 4 gallons of water. I used about 3 gallons and two packets of solution. The higher concentration was the key for the amount of staining I needed removed.

Pretty amazing. I had a gorgeous dress that the bright colors ran into each other after I accidentally dropped some water on it. I followed instructions on the box and it took the smear out. It does seem like the color faded, but still so much better than having the colors bleed.

There was a blue hoodie that was washed with a pair of light grey sweatpants that ended up leaking. My husband didn’t notice when he switched the wash so not only were the sweatpants stained, the stain was dried on high heat! I bought this after a recommendation from Reddit and was so impressed. It pulled the blue (mostly) out - enough that I can wear them to the gym and not feel like they’re stained. Color of the sweatpants is still consistent throughout and not spotty, was gentle and safe on the fabric, and was happy with the results. Would purchase again!

I thought I had ruined 2 brand new pairs of Docker shorts when I washed them, beige color, with a red shirt. The shorts came out of the washer PINK!! Carbona Color Run Remover completely removed all the pink and returned them to the beige they were supposed to be. $130 saved - thanks to Carbona!

I should have taken a before and after picture but completely forgot to. I accidentally washed a dyed shirt with my Beyoncé CowBoy Carter merch. If you know anything, you know the shirt was hella expensive. I was devastated when I pulled it out the washer and it was bright pink. Might be your vibe but it’s not mine, okay! It also dyed a pair of white work pants, that were also pretty pricey. My cowboy Carter shirt? Looks brand new! It even got some of the color run from when I originally washed it and the letters bled just a little on the back. The shirt was 100% cotton so I’m thinking that’s why it worked so well. My work pants (75% Rayon/22% Nylon/3% Spandex) on the other hand? Not so much. It is significantly lighter than when I started but there is still a pink hue to them. I plan on repeating the process to see if maybe it will lift the second time and I will update my review. But overall pretty solid product. I also did not dry my clothes when I first noticed the color bleed, as drying with heat can lead to the color setting permanently. Honestly follow the instructions down to the last letter!

Did not work for the level of pink/red that was stuck in my whites. Was very hopeful as I have loved carbona stain devils and they’ve worked for me for everything before.

Well..What have I got to lose ??? Just 3 Victorian Nighties paid over $100.00 each..Accidently got washed with a Red Nightgown..OMG!! I was in tears!! So I purchased this product and followed the directions..well kinda...I did not notice much of a change...so I gave up and just left them in the kitchen sink...Still Pale Pink...Then put them in the machine on Delicate..laundry soap..WOW!! They are now back to being WHITER than WHITE...I am in total awe!! Very Very Happy!! Dancing!! Hip Hip Hurray!! Thank-you!!

My shirt (red) shared with my wife’s (white blouse) didn’t dry just bagged and froze it till I got some of this stuff. 5 minutes in the mixture and all is well!. Would recommend and use it again—- in fact the blouse looks brighter and whiter!

I am totally shock that this Color Run Color Remover, removed my original dress color!!!My dress was orange in color, it becomes yellow!!!BUYER BE WARNED this is only suitable for WHITE and not colored material clothes.This totally ruined my dress that costs S$159!!!Wrote to the supplier but reply is automated and brought round and round...I will NEVER BUY another Carbona branded goods.

Useless product. It decolored my entire pink dress (some areas were pink and other half turned brown). Tried on 3 different dresses and all got decolored instead of removing the stain. Best thing - you can't return the product and your dress is also gone!

Researched a lot before purchasing. Did the patch test, Followed instructions. Result? Ruined two of my favorite dresses. Conclusion: Seems to be best for taking pink that has ran from red into whites. Terrible with everything else. Bleached an orange into a yellow and blues barely shifted, so didn't get rid of the blue run off from a black garment. Advice? Only risk with pink bleed off and with something you don't care if it is ruined. Also, forget the patch test. Useless. Dunk it for mere seconds if you have used a concentrated dose and immediately rinse in freezing water over and over and then toss in washing machine with cold water rinse.-- Wish I had tried other methods first. Hope this prevents the ruination of one of your favorites.
