FRIED TWO PIXEL 2 XL'S!!(UPDATED)
This charger fried two Pixel 2 XL phones, back to back. As soon as I plugged it into the phone the screen froze and it went black. After it did it on the first one, luckily it was in the return period with Verizon so they replaced it no problem. I knew for sure that it had to be a fluke that a charger would cause that to happen, so I didn't think much of it. I got the second BRAND NEW Pixel 2 XL and the next day went to charge it in my car and this time it was even worse. Screen froze and then went black. Had this happened when I couldn't get replacement phones, I would be unimaginably angry. Amazon could be somewhat responsible, because it was listed as used, but good condition. I would like the company to offer an explanation of what could have been wrong with it.UPDATE: Nekteck sent me an email and replaced the two of these that I purchased, and offered replacement cost of the phone, which I didn't need since it was in the 14 day return period for Verizon. However, the customer service of this company is second to none. They checked with me to see if the new chargers worked properly (which they did) and followed up in a tremendous fashion. The only issue I've noticed is that they don't charge as fast as the Anker charger I have, but it still gets the job done. I assumed with the PD system, that it would charge faster, but the Anker charger is a non-PD. Either way, 5 stars for Nekteck and the charger I would give 4 stars.

Charges my new Lenovo Yoga 920 laptop very quickly.
Charges my new Lenovo Yoga 920 laptop very quickly. I like the built in cable - I don't have to search for one, its always there. . I had been using a DC to AC inverter in the car and the AC charger that came with the Lenovo computer. Using an inverter is very wasteful. This DC to DC solution uses much less energy in the car and RV to charge the laptop. I am very pleased. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast it charges the Laptop. It seems to me to be as quick or faster than the AC power brick the laptop came with. So far the charger does not get hot it just gets warm.

Not so fast charging but not bad.
Edit to my original post below. This product does what it is supposed to. It charges with no problem. It charges at a decent rate. I just though it would charge faster from the reviews I read but there is no problem with it. Customer service on this is VERY good. They have contacted me several times wanting to know what they can do to make me happy. Well they did it with their service. Thank you. I will keep the charger. It charges but I'm not impressed with the speed. While charging my Pixel XL for 25 minutes it charged 17 percent. My Belkin 20W charged 22 percent in the same time. Guess I'll keep looking.

Works well at first but not a long lasting charger
I purchased this car charger because it was one of the few, at the time, USB-IF certified devices which means it was tested to be safe to use with your device and not accidentally fry it. For the first few months, it worked great. It would charge my Pixel 2 XL and high speed (USB-PD) and so on my commute home from work it would completely top up my phone. It was great. I loved that it had the USB-C cord built into the device as well because it meant not having to shell out another $10 for the cord. I used the other port to charge things with micro-usb like my bluetooth headphones.Over time though, the USB-c charger stopped charging at high speed. It was gradual but I'd notice that when I'd get home from work, the battery wouldn't be full any more. My phone also wouldn't recognize it as "fast charging" anymore, just regular. The USB-c port on the cable also feels a bit loose. When this happened the first time, I contacted Nekteck for a warranty replacement which was super easy to do and fast. I was pleasantly surprised with the customer service interaction. Within 3 days, I had a new charger and sent back my old one. That worked great for a few months, then the same problem again. I contacted Nekteck again and got another warranty replacement. It's a few months later and the fast-charge no longer works. While I could get another warranty replacement, the overall hassle is getting tiring and instead I'm buying a charger from another brand.I would not recommend purchasing this product. It's a shame, because when the product works, it works great, and the customer service is excellent when you have a problem, but 3 bad devices in less than a year is just too much hassle for me.Jan 2019 UpdateAfter saying I was tired of requesting a replacement, customer service proactively reached out to me and offered another replacement. I was reluctant, but the product was apparently redesigned. The charging cable is now detachable from the car charger and is much higher quality. Before, the problem was always that the cable came loose or broke and since it was built into the charger, I couldn't just use another cable. Now, I could use a spare cable if it goes bad, but the new thicker cable it comes with seems much more high quality. It seems like a solid product, and again, their customer service is excellent so I would recommend this product now.

First one died very quickly, but great customer service [updated 2018-07-24]
--- Update: July 24, 2018Nekteck contacted me today and offered me a full refund or a replacement. For a commodity item like a charger, this was quite the surprise. I requested a replacement, because the other reviews seem positive and the item is built very well; I haven't been able to open it to see what's wrong. I've added two stars to my review for this great customer service. I will try to update again once I have used the replacement for a few weeks or months.--- Original review ---This worked great for about a week. My phone recognized it as a USB PD device and could charge fully in about 30 or 40 minutes. But like I said, it only worked for about a week. It completely stopped working shortly thereafter. I thought maybe I blew a fuse, but that was not the case.I use a navigation app pretty much every time I drive, so maybe the heavy GPS power consumption contributed to its hasty demise. Even so, I'd expect something like this to put up with that sort of normal use.On the plus side, this didn't do any harm to my phone when it died, so it's maybe not the worst charger out there. Maybe I got a dud. I don't know. I'm reluctant to buy another. 2 stars.

Bargain price and charges my dell xps 9350
I bought this hoping that my dell xps 13 would accept a charge through the usbc port as I wanted to be able to charge it in the car and I was pleased to find it does and this product is a steal for £10.99, now with just this i can charge my laptop, mobile and it also provides a high output usb port.

Faulty
Really disappointed. I tried the charger and it didn't work. Wasn't sure if it was my car or the charger (as I've never used the cigarette lighter in my car before) but I have now tested the charger in a different car and it definitely doesn't work. Unfortunately, it is too late to send back!

In general a great product
Top quality USB and USBc to car charger. It is small and therefore not bulky to carry and it can charge up to 2 devices at the same time.It charges faster than other devices I've previously owned and even has a small light to show when it's charging. In general a great product

Does the job but.....
A great little car charger, but only seems to provide fast charging from the main lead, not from the extra usb socket.
