Gave an excellent finish to a piece of furniture I was bringing back to life

So easy to use. Gives great coverage. So pleased with the outcome on a small pine table which had ring marks and scratches on it. Now I can't see them and it has given a much richer darker effect than the orangey horrible pine it originally was. I love the smell as well not chemically but just a nice gentle oil based smell. Great product and a little goes a long way.

Superb product, so much better than Osmo table oil. Easy to apply if you use a plastic applicator not a brush. Give it time to cure and follow videos on application. Really delighted with finish and its durability so far. One little bottle did two coats on an 8’ table and I still have half left.

I ordered the 'Chocolate' colour for a Black Walnut case - it's really thick when first applied, but it's easily spread (without leaving any 'application streaks' that you get with Dyes) and it covers a lot of area for very little oil. The colour achieved that deep, rich, antique look that I was after. I'm really pleased.

The product is fine. However the tins, especially the hardener tin, are difficult to use for the necessary accurate measurement. The pop up cap on the accelerator simply would not work and the pull hook broke off so the tin had to be opened with a knife.It is also ludicrously expensive for 300ml of oil. Not sure it is any better than far cheaper poly X.It came with no instructions for mixing or application and all of the info on the packaging was in Dutch and all about safety precautions. Not that helpful in an English market.

I've tried 3 or 4 different samples of rubio now, all applied to oak and each time they just leave a dull finish. I've tried multiple coats, buffing with an orbital polisher but still just dull and lifeless. I really wanted to like it due to our American YouTubers hype and I've tried hard to make it look good to no avail.Perhaps it's because I've used just the sample without the two part element? Perhaps we get a less version of this that what they have in the US? But for £30+ for a finish that may just be lifeless I'll pass. Keep it classic with Danish oil or a good hard wax oil to get that desirable soft sheen.

When I received this tiny bottle, my first thought was that I am never going to have enough stain to cover the moon mirror. I never read item descriptions and the bottle was the size of an eye dropper bottle. But I was so wrong. I finally finished sanding the mirror yesterday and stained it today. I only used a couple of drops and spread the stain with a plastic glove rubbing the mirror with my finger and it came out beautiful. The stain made a really nice grainy finish and zero streaks that I would have had with a can of stain and a brush. I did it with one coat because I loved the finish. I have almost a whole bottle left. I highly recommend this product!

The Rubio Monocoat oil is easy to apply and created a beautiful finish. I used this on a project made from cherry wood and I am very pleased with the results. The one drawback is that it is a bit expensive, but I believe it is worth the additional cost.

This was a great size for the project that I was working on. It was easy to measure out for proper mixing and was super easy to apply for a great look.
