Most ceramic hides I have seen listed are not adequately sized for syrians, but this one is perfect! My male is still young, but he has plenty of room to grow. Would have no concerns if purchasing for a larger ham. Adds whimsy and feels high quality.

Super cute, top comes off for easy cleaning, ceramic is nice so he doesn't chew it. He took to it immediately when I put a little of his bedding in it.

I am so, so happy with this ceramic mushroom hide. It looks kind of orange in my picture but it's more brown in person. My Syrian hamster, Buffy, is a big girl. This has more than enough space for her! I've been looking for a cute ceramic hide for her for over a year. Honestly, I wanted one more for the look and the cage decoration for me, but ceramic is nice for summer and it's just so CUTE. Plus, another place to hide is never a bad thing for a hamster. Pros: Size Appearance Lid is detachable for easy cleaning Lid "locks" into place Buffy loves it! Cons: This isn't really a con, but this hide wouldn't fit in a pet store hamster cage. Which leads to my hamster PSA: most hamster cages are WAY too small. Hamsters need a lot of space, deep bedding to burrow, a 12 in wheel for Syrians, opportunities for enrichment, etc. So, if you have an appropriate sized cage for your Syrian baby, this is a perfect ceramic hide!

Our hamster LOVES this mushroom hideout. It's quite bigger than I expected but it is gorgeous and works perfect for our Syrian, Bilbo. He likes to hide food in the mushroom, he brings bedding into it and often naps in there. It has a good weight to it so I highly recommend putting it on a platform so your burrowing cutie doesn't get squished under it. Our platform is a Niteangel corner one. I love that the lid comes off and also has ceramic tabs that help lock it on. You just line up with tabs with the cut-out spots and twist it. The lid can still lift up a smidge but the hamster won't be able to get it off when in "locked" position.

My hamster loves it. It's adorable and it's a great size. It was packaged well and had no cracks or defects. It was worth the money! It's a big heavy so I put a stand under it in my hamsters tank to ensure it doesn't come down on him. Easy to set up. There's a little window cut out on the side and a hole in the chimney in addition to the entry, to ensure air can get through. I sprinkled some dried flowers inside and I put an ice pack on top when it's getting a little warm and my guy loves it.

So versatile and beautiful! But my biggest thing is SAFETY for my sweeties..I imagine what would happen if power went out for any amount of time, they need to stay cool or warm (depending on season) so these could save their life honestly!! My hams love them! I ordered 3 for my 3 hamsters (I have all 3 hamsters pictured) ! My kids and I used non-toxic ceramic paint and they’re so cute that way too! The top is totally secured so they can’t get to the ice packs or the hot hands so safety first again… Thanks for amazing products, can’t wait to order more from your company. La compre para que mi hámster estuviera más fresquito, lo llena de papel así que no se si cumple su función, pero le ha gustado mucho. Es muy útil que se quite la tapa de arriba y es sumamente fácil lavarlo. Tengo un hámster sirio y es perfecta.

If you're looking for a good quality hide for your little ones, this is one is great. It is nice and cool for them in the summer. The quality is excellent. It's a great size for smaller exotic pets like hamsters. I have two of the mushroom. One for my dwarf hamster (it's pretty huge for him), and one for my Syrian and it works great for both..
