This should be advertised for only thick hair and in which case it would not be necessary. Fine hair it is not concealed and is too heavy falls out.

Think of it like a plug or a spacer. I take my pony elastic and put my hair into a pony, but instead of wrapping it 3 times I only wrap it twice. It seems a little loose, but it leaves room for the Pony- O product. Then I split the pony in two horizontally and tug the Pony-O fin into the center of the split ponytail, so half of my hair is on top and the other half is under the Pony-O. A little adjusting and I'm on my way! The only thing I did different was to peel off the velcro circle at the end because my hair covered that part and it did get a little stuck in my hair the first two times taking it out. Not a big deal. Folks aren't watching the video or are putting it in backwards or something because it does exactly what it says it's going to do. Would love if they made it a little lighter. And would also love a smaller version for pigtails and space buns! I'm hoping they expand their product line :)

Does what it claims to. I’ve used this with both the included hair elastics and average black ones and both work fabulously. It’s a bit difficult to get out of your hair at the end of the day, but it’s well worth it because of how good it looks. I have very fine hair and it made even me look like I had extensions in

I picked the tan version for shoulder-length silver hair, and it is not seen from outside the hairstyle at all. No hair hurt & no sliding down of hair-do. I used mine with a scrunchie.
