Not worth the cost
Easy to put together. Materials are light, but it isn’t as sturdy as I’d wished. The bottom tray was poorly assembled, and will not slide into place, and the metal sheet doesn’t fit correctly in the one I received, so after assembling, I cannot use the tray OR the housing until I fix this because the house has gaps if it’s not in place. The wood was also cracked in several places, not cut correctly, and a couple screws were not attached to the wood, but drilled through the metal sheet. After using my own hardware trying to keep it together, the metal sheet will not sit correctly and could not support the ducks.

Chickens or Ducks!
Very sturdy and perfect for a nesting box for chickens or a duck home for night time. Easy to assemble and easy to clean!

Feels flimsy … I would not have more than 2 adult ducks..not a deep slide out at the bottom
For temporary use-easy to put together , definitely flimsy and if kept up on blocks or off the ground even the ramp put a block to raise it some of the ground and keep out of elements. The bottom slide out is not deep so can’t put a good cushion layer of bedding . You can but have to shovel most out before being able to slide out the bottom .. it works well if not handled a lot and if moving definitely be careful because it feels like it will collapse.. I am still using mine and have had since summer

Please read this
I bought a few of these duck houses as a bed for my ducks a INSIDE their coop. This house would NOT stand up well as a predator house alone. It is not sturdy enough to keep out a predator. It is very flimsy. This being said, it is a great duck house to put INSIDE a giant enclosure and keep the door open as a straw bed for warmth! But please, do NOT get this if your using it alone as a free standing house. It would not be safe!!!

Updated my previous review- fell apart
*second update- this is un-usable after 6 months. I had patched it up the best I could with bolts screws hinges- it’s destroyed and I’m afraid it’s going to collapse on them. In the last photo, you can see it laying in a pile of wreckage to the left, less than 1 year later, behind the replacement I was forced to buy. *update- this has completely fallen apart 2.5 months in, and it’s kept under cover and gently handled. I’m using this in a covered and fully enclosed run for my 2 Pekin ducks to sleep in. Like the other reviews state, this is very flimsy. It’s made of incredibly soft wood. It went together totally fine UNTIL it was time to put the roof on. The placement for the bottom of the hinges was not marked so I placed them where I thought they should go, and when I closed the lid the entire left side panel busted into 4 pieces. So I’m using it without the hinges and will have to l-bracket it together for longevity. It’s rickety anyway, and I’m not sure it’ll keep predators away or stand up to the elements if it’s not under cover. It is, however, inexpensive compared to other duck houses, has good ventilation, the removable bottom for easy cleaning is a plus and it’s large enough to fit my two boys, so it gets 3 stars from me!

Request your refunds now…..
I think I would have loved this house if it wasn’t so cheaply made. It’s not the most expensive but it’s also not cheap for what you’re given. The box arrived completely undamaged. The moment I opened it and grabbed the first piece. I saw a small piece of wood fall to the ground. As I continued to inspect the sides everything is splitting. And the draw is soo shallow… I’m not even sure it should be a draw less than an inch of bedding would have to be used. There was no quality product control on this item. And even after glueing the split wood and screwing in fallen off pieces together the house literally wobbles. The first time I opened the roof lid…. Bracket snapped. I’m nervous for my girls! Are they safe in this… unfortunately only time will tell.

Good quality
Easy to put together, good quality, not very heavy, big enough for 2-3 ducks

Terrible Quality! Don't buy!
This was used for a duck house, from the start it was very flimsy. The wood is thin and not durable for outside weather. I'm in CA...not crazy weather! If this was $50...okay...but $200!! I should have sent it back the second I opened it. I ended up having to throw it away within 8 weeks because it literally fell apart! Save your money and your time...this was nothing but a headache and a waste of money!
