Filterbuy 12x24x1 Air Filter MERV 8 Dust & Allergy Defense (4-Pack)

I do not post often and usually only of bad experiences, but then I find companies that come along and make life easier, I have used this filter for long, they last and protect my family and my AC ducts decently, I ordered the wrong size and the way this company handle the whole thing was exceptional, no arguments no ‘sorry you ordered the wrong item’ but pure and simple ‘don’t worry your new filters are on its way’ simple,direct and timely , good air flow, good value , and if you order the right size they will fit nicely

I switched to these from Filtrete. 20x30 Filtrete filters were always a tight fit in my register, I had to jam them in and they usually got crumpled a little bit. These went in perfectly, cost less per unit, and they don't bow upwards as much. I also like how they give the actual MERV 8 rating for these, Filtrete doesn't (anything over MERV8 puts extra stress on your HVAC and costs you more to run).

Been using these for months, great quality. No issues what so ever. I compared price to the 2 main big box stores and this is the best for your bucks. You get a lot more and they are of the same quality. I used to get mine from a big box store with military discount of 10% and this is still a better deal. They fit exactly like the filter I took out, so size is the same. I live FL and run my AC constantly. These last about 2-3 months each. They do no lose their rigidity. They are built with very high quality material. They catch a lot of dust, you can see how dirty they are when replaced. PROS - great quality and last 2-3 months in my AC running constantly - you get a lot for your money when compared to the big box stores - catch a lot of dirt, filters are really dirty after use - very rigid which makes it easy to installation - reinforced wire mesh CONS - None

These arrived faster than expected and were boxed up really well. None of the filters were damaged, which has happened in the past, and they were super easy to install with clear instructions as to the orientation. I have already been using one for two weeks and can tell that they are working because a mystery smell has finally dissipated. They are good quality, but cheap enough so I feel good about buying a multipack and swapping them out frequently to help with dust accumulation.

I can’t speak for other sizes and MERV ratings, but if you’re looking for a 20x30x1 MERV 8, this is the choice. I’ve been a homeowner for two years (built in1965), and my return is unfortunately located in the hallway floor. I’ve had to go down in MERV rating now until I replace my 16yo HVAC, but I went through basically every option of this specific air filter type. The ones that cost more than these? Literally the exact same thing. I’m not kidding, they are no different besides branding. The ones cheaper than these? I’m assuming they’re not MERV 8, because these were the cheapest out there for me. They sell D2C to allow prices to stay lower than anywhere, but provide the same product all of these other brands do. This is the one. You’d be crazy not to get these.

These are the only ones that fit inside the mini-split returns I have in all my bedrooms. They are a bit snug but much better in shape and quality than other brands I have purchased in the past. They match the size description. I have them on Subscribe and Save, so they arrive when I know I need to replace them.
