Nice product
My car headrest in a Volvo have no visible rods, but I was able to squeeze the hanger under the rest and hook on to the rod without too much trouble. The length is not adjustable and the two hooks are so close together that u can't use each for anything more than plastic bags. I use both hooks to hold my purse in the front of the passenger seat. After spending way too many times picking up the contents of a spilled purse, I won't be without this little gadget again. I use another hanging on the back of the front seat to hold plastic bags. Though I like it to keep plastic bags neat, I find that keeping my purse secure during my long work commute and hours of errands is really where this shines. And when there's a passenger, it very easily and quickly slides around to the back of the seat. I'm going to get several for stocking stuffers. If you're a busy lady with a good sized purse, you will find this extremely useful.

"Hooked" on this..
These are great for keeping the back seat uncluttered! I bought two one for each headrest and have had many of compliments on them. When I have passengers ride in the back seat they love that they can hang their purse instead of sitting it in the floorboard or holding it. I like that my umbrella and window sunscreen is easily accessible as I have them hanging from one of the hooks. I highly recommend these - great for the price!

Does what it needs to do
I now own a Honda Fit, and when I have someone in the passenger seat, I have to put my purse somewhere. If I put it on the backseat floor, it slides under the seat (the Fit has fold up bench seats for storage). When it's on the back seat, it slides out of reach. I bought this hanger so I could hang my purse from the back of my seat so it's easier to find when I get out.And this does exactly what I want it to do. When I get out of my car, I know exactly where my purse is. The hooks do rattle a bit, but as long as I have the stereo on, I don't hear it.

Good but
Let me begin by saying it does serve the purpose I got it for, which is hanging my purse when I am driving with someone in the car, I don't like using the floor of the car for that. The plastic that attaches to the head rest post is very stiff so it stands horizontal always, the hooks are very narrow. They are good for plastic bags but if a purse has a wider strap, it does not work as well. I don't know how sturdy the product will prove with use as I just got it.

car hook
I put this hook in my van right away and it works great so far (it's been a week) It arrived within a week , it looks very sturdy and I have put 4 bags on it and it seems fine.

Not big enough hooks
The hooks were just too small for hanging my purse -- which was my primary objective. Would probably be okay for store plastic bags, but I took these off and replaced with the Talus High Road Car Hooks, also thru amazon.com. Since I have light colored leather car seats, I just hope the metal Talus hooks don't make a rubbing mark. That was the reason I chose these plastic ones first. Also the nice thing about the Talus ones are that the hook is deeper and bendable so that you can stretch the hook out to accommodate a big handled purse, etc.

It's just a hook....
Can't get excited over this but suffice it to say that it works as advertised and is sturdy enough for light duty parcels. Fits well in my 2012 Tucson and doesn't interfere with the second row seats folding forward.
