I had read a few reviews on other sites about this product. I also watched a few you tube videos that gave it a good review. I finally ordered some for myself. I wasn't let down. I've used some body wash and lotion from Shea Moisture. I enjoyed both of those products. This stuff smells very good. Packed full of natural seed oils and shea butter. It also helps with dry skin under the beard. I only used it once so far but I plan on getting some more in the future once I run out. I recommend this for black men's beards in particular but my guess is anyone can use this beard oil and get good results.

You don't need much of this beard oil to do the trick. It smells great while massaging it into your beard and makes it shiny and clean looking after applying. The scent seems to get even better after a few minutes - my other half says it's like an aphrodisiac so I am going to use this stuff forever! Definitely recommend to moisturize your beard and keep it looking and smelling great.

Such a great produce for a great price!! I got this oil for my boyfriend’s birthday and he absolutely loves it!! The scent is not overwhelming, it a lovely almost vanilla scent! This is his favorite oil compared to some of his other name brand beard oils because the fragrance isn’t a try hard overwhelmingly manly smell. It doesn’t irritate him throughout the day. I have already purchased a second bottle for him so he doesn’t have to wait when he runs out!

I have used Shea Moisture products, mostly on my head (following head shaves), but have to admit, I'm intrigued by the beard products. The biggest reason you either already like Shea Moisture or are interested is the scent. These beard products have a soft, subtle, sweet but masculine smell. It's a nice alternative to most beard products that are either tea tree, leather/musky/smoky or sweet and fruity. As a beard oil, I think this product does two things better than most beard oils: One, the bottle is far easier to use than most splash-style beard oils and two, the scent (subjective). As a beard oil it does a good job of moisturizing without weighing my beard down but I don't know how it would do on an average/thin beard. I would one day like to grow one of those huge, mountain-man beards but I choose to keep mine at 2.5 - 3" and well maintained, my daughter says I have a "metro-mountain beard". So, my beard is thick, most oils do well with it and this one does as well. I don't think it's quite as sticky as other oils. That could be a preference since I do like the oil to be a little sticky (until combed through). What it amounts to is I'm not for sure if it's as effective as an oil as other beard oils but it's easier to use and smells better than other oils. I think in spring/summer it will be nice to use as a daily light-styling oil on my beard since the scent is light and subtle and it's not as thick. I'll keep a bottle of it ready for those quick uses to freshen up. I'll also say I'm impressed with Shea Moisture's venture into the bearded world.

First time user with beard care products. And this beard conditioning oil is terrific. Works wonders on keeping it soft and to help it stay healthy and keeping it maintained, but the best part is the smell. Just like all the other Shea Moisture products I've used. Except the smell of this oil tops all the others. The only downside is the bottle. It's a little messy at times when I use it, but it can be overlooked with how well the oil works and smells. But other than that, the beard conditioning oil is great and definitely worth getting.

When I cut my beard short between a 3 and a 8 on the trimmer my girlfriend complains that it is scratchy. Ever since I bought this beard oil she has loved how soft it is and the smell is absolutely amazing!!! I don't know why but my bottle does leak a tiny bit when in my bag so I keep it in a ziplock too just in case and that does the trick. This stuff rocks though, so buy it for you, buy it for your man! I'll always keep this in stock!

Being familiar with the brand I was happy to find out that Shea Moisture has a beard oil. The product has a subtle smell which I appreciate and it works well to moisturize. Note that it does not have a dropper in the bottle to count out the number of drops you want. Despite this, I found that the cap works well to deliver the drops in a controllable manner. Overall, it is a very usable product.

It was a recommended product and so far it hasn't disappointed. Smells great and my beard feels soft. Packing was horrible though. Arrived in little plastic bag inside of an envelope. No protection from keeping it from opening and spilling. The cap was loose when I opened the package and a little bit had leaked out. Other than packaging, I would recommend.

Simply perfect. The best price/quality ratio of all beard oils. It works amazingly well, keeps your beard hydrated the whole day, it smells amazing and I like the pump mechanism for a beard oil, instead of the typical dropper. Good job

Me gustó el producto, cumple con la descripción, tiene buenos ingredientes, y deja mi barba suave y con buen brillo. El aroma es mucho más fuerte y dulce de lo que esperaba. La primera vez que lo apliqué sentí como si hubiera hundido la cara en un pastel, pero poco a poco se neutraliza y deja buen aroma y sensación. No es mi aceite para barba favorito pero es bueno y de buen valor!

OKAY FIRSTLY! I didnt buy this product for beard purposes at all. Let me state that before you read my review. I love Shea moisture products for the natural products that they use and i decided to purchase the beard oil to use on my hair on my head for the benefits and shine. Product contains: Grape seed oil Sunflower seed oil Olive fruit oil Shea Butter Coconut oil Jojoba seed oil And many other fantastic oils and ingredients great for hair in general. Smell wise, the smell is quite neutral, reminds me of fresh wood, plain but again it is designed for a beard so its aroma wasn’t designed to disturb the nose as its for facial hair close to the nose and mouth. The aroma is fine based on that reasoning. I have got great shine all around my hair since using and SERIOUSLY you DO NOT need no more than 1-2 drops, as the oil does last very long and you have to keep working it through you hair so its not advised to over do it. Trust me... 1 drop is enough. It definitely conditions, does what it says in a nutshell Postage was due January 4th - 14th ( its arrived December 23rd - review was written 24th) I was happy it came earlier than expected however slightly disappointed in not receiving an update that it would have come on the day it arrived. I wont mark down for that as it came before expected tbh was just lucky someone was indorrs thats all :) For the males that actually want this as a beard oul or a regular oil for hair its perfect and for anyone else who is like me who just used their brain and knew that the oils used could be used on hair in general then its a Fabolous natural product to use if you dont mind spending a little. I would say its worth it considering you dont need to use a lot so would last. Defo would make a dry beard stand out as adds shine. Wash hands after as oil does remain on hands unless you work it into hair and not rush. I also purchased the beard balm and will leave a separate review on that also.
