Joanne Barnard, Hello and thank you for your question. The narrow pin point stream is very powerful. It is not recommended for use on painted surfaces, wood surfaces or items attached with and adhesive backing.

Q: Brand new craftsman 1700 psi electric will not stay on. why does it shut off right away?

Are you attempting to use it? It will only engage when you are actively running water and using the hose.

Q: Will this work on a 1500 watt inverter hooked up to my pickup truck?

No, this is 13 AMP motor which would require a minimum of 1560 watts in order to run. However, the initial spike could be double that so it is recommended to use a 3000 watt inverter.

Q: how much oil can this pump?? Need pressure?

Hi. The CMEPW1700 Electric Pressure Washer does not need oil to operate. The Pressure Washer has 1700 MAX PSI and 1.2 GPM.
