Tasty!
Review 2 of Product - we did try the cream and it tastes just fine, thankfully. As described, it is a little difficult to blend. However we found that using our frother to blend powder and water works quite well with a little time and patience. A lovely product and quite handy. Great for adding to recipes or drinks. 1st review of seller: Package arrived on time, with bag of cream powder in a zip-close type of package, encased in a 2nd clear plastic bag which was folded over and closed. However, the zip-close on bag of cream had been opened and spilled out into the encasement plastic bag. This is the only way we know to contact seller to advise of the defect in packaging. Nor do we know if the cream powder had been compromised.

Makes excellent hot cocoa mix
I use this to as a component for a Hot Cocoa mix. This makes a mix so smooth that even my wife, who normally eschews these indulgences, was impressed by the depth and intensity of the hot cocoa.

BIG Disappointment
After reading many of the reviews for this product, & believing the products' claim that this is good in coffee, I bit the bullet & ordered. First issue - after opening the bag, I found the "resealable" zipper was defective. It wasn't properly affixed to the inside of the bag which meant it was useless to be able to use it to reseal & keep the product fresh. Ok, fine. I improvised & placed the entire bag into a gallon size Ziploc. Second issue - I pre-mixed a small amount of powder (per the instructions - 1TBLS powder to 1TBLS water) to use in my coffee. I stirred & stirred & even vigorously shook up the mixture in the container & added it to my coffee & stirred again. Took my first sip. My coffee was not as dense, & the flavor definitely was not as rich, as using true liquid heavy whipping cream; but it was ok. I thought, "I can probably adjust to it over time". However, as I drank more, and got further down to the bottom, each swig of coffee became more gritty than the previous. I had to leave the last 4 or so swigs in the cup because I could see the powder had not dissolved completely and had settled in the bottom of my mug! I've tried using it in several more cups of coffee & nothing I've done will dissolve all of the powder. It is just not realistic to have to keep a spoon handy to constantly stir my coffee until I've finished it. I paid $27.99 (plus taxes) for this. I had much higher expectations for the money I spent and the only thing I've gotten for my money is a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! SO thankful I only ordered the 1.5 lb bag. Which I'm stuck with because it is NOT RETURNABLE! NO - I do NOT recommend this product. Do NOT buy - save your money!

If You Mimic the Natural Origin, Blending is a Breeze!
I like cream-based soups. I like cream or milk in my coffee. I like cream that has no artificial additives. And with the price that those requirements, I intensely cream that is expensive and ends up being wasted. In looking for a way out of this dilemma I have considered freezing cream. That did not work for me. Since I am the only one cooking for me, there had to be another option. So dehydration. The reviews of this and other dehydrated milks/creams discussed the rehydration issue and the need for rehydration to occur over hours or overnight. Sure enough, that was an issue I encountered. Then it occurred to me that cream comes into this world homogenized in milk, becomes available with cooling and letting the milk sit still. So, what if the water used for rehydration is as close to what the cow's warm environment is? The cow's internal temperature is 101 (F). LO! Rehydration of this cream is a breeze when the water is around 101 (F), then is easily cooled in the fridge if needed for the morning's coffee, and almost instantly ready if needed for cream-based soups! YEA! No more buying an expensive pint of cream only to have to throw it out when I can't use it before it spoils!
