What is the size difference from the small and extra small? My daughter is 3 years old. What size do you recommend?

The size is measured by height. the extra small has a handlebar height of 15.5"-19.5" while the small has a height of 19"-25".  I would probably recommend the small over the extra small.

My daughter has used this type of walker for years she has always been able to walk with a normal gait. Make sure you pay attention to the width so you have enough room to achieve the normal gait.
