Great taste and good purchase
Excellent licorice, soft, flavorful and lasted and didn’t harden. Definitely the old fashioned licorice that I think of when I was younger. Also, I like that I was supporting a small mom & pop Detroit based company that has managed to keep going despite this economy. They make many other food products that I will try. Well worth it.

They are gross tasting
They taste horrible. They have an bitter, horrible aftertaste. You can only tell they use some kind of artificial sweetener that tastes like poison. My husband loves red licorice, but he threw this pack of licorice away and said that after taste was so horrible. He had to force himself to spit up what he had eaten already don’t buy this product . They have a nasty aftertaste.

Great product! HOWEVER, this is marked $2.99 on the bag!! I thought this was a speciatly licorice, hard to find and more of a nostalgic candy. Wrong, it's sold in most grocery and specialty stores. THE KICKER, it is at my work's front store. I just didn't know it. The place I work at, I get a bag almost twice the size as this product and its only $4.29. So, for the cost, it's horribly over priced here. I will just get my Bettermade licorice at a store and not pay $7 for a $3 product JUST REMEMBER EVERYONE, shipping isn't free, it's calculated in the price. This product is a sure example of this!!!

This is absolutely the best licorice I have ever tasted. The Better Made Brand comes from Detroit, Michigan and is the very best in the USA!!!
