Why are these being advertised as lenin, when the inside label says 98% cotton 2% poly

Mine are not linen, they are cotton. Also, Not a good fit at all; very disappointed in them.

My spouse is 6ft 34" waist and 168 pounds what size do you recommend

I’m 5’9” and 170lbs, I ordered a medium and it was plenty big. The pants have elastic and a draw string waist, so there very adjustable. Plus there cut big. The fabric drapes beautifully ..

what waist is the 4xl for? looking for a 56

The 4x has a 43.3 inch waist. I looked for other coofandy products does not appear to offer your size. I would encourage you to find another linen short product. The fabric is neat cool and comfortable and looks good on big men. Hope this helps good luck.

Proper size chart please....
