Black Cushion

At my "tender" age, over 80, I love my tush cushion. Since being confined to a wheelchair as my primary means of mobility this is really comfortable. Even in my extreme climate it stays comfortable and relatively cool. So far so good

The cushion is comfortable. This is our third one.

Bought this for my 99 year old Mothers wheelchair and she says it's working out very well! She likes the rounded shape at the front and says it doesn't make her back hurt like other cushions we've tried. Cover is washable which is good and it has a strap that attaches to the wheelchair to keep it in place. The material it's made of is a plus also as she doesn't slide on it like she does with nylon cushions. Money well spent!

I’ve been debating whether to keep or return this. After much consideration, I’m keeping it because the truth is it’s as good as it gets at this price point & there no such thing as an affordable cushion that would meet my needs anywhere in existence.I’ve got almost no muscle mass on my glutes, in addition to having arthritis in my ischial tuberosity aka “sit bones” (who knew such a thing could even happen!?!), so sitting on ANY type of surface is very painful to me. If I could afford a ROHO, I would buy one without hesitation because they are magnificent. I once cared for a quadriplegic who had a ROHO and I will never forget how amazing it felt to sit on!Anyway, MOST of you are probably not hurting as badly as I am, so I believe you’ll probably be very happy with this cushion.For any unfortunate saps who suffer like me: The only tip I have for you is to keep a bunch of re-usable ice packs in the freezer, frequently rotating them out to sit on. Initially bought got my frail elderly mother, then used by my father … but we all appreciate using it (not only for wheelchairs which it fits snugly as designed). This is quite a thick pad but it’s gives excellent support even for thighs and zero pressure on tailbone and keeps cool. Actually we love it.

This memory foam seat cushion is amazing. I have bought 3. One for my manual transport chair in the house, one for my electric wheelchair and a third which came so quickly thank goodness because my husband left it on the roof of the vehicle and we drove away with it on top. I was happy I had one at home in my manual chair but didn't need to take my house one out because the replacement was here before I used my outdoor electric wheelchair. They really help when sitting for so long.

The cushion is reasonably priced and is comfortable. The front edge is tapered so there is no pressure on the thigh It is a great alternative to the $400 air cushions and i was able to fit it in our narrow wheelchair. ( 16 inch seat The air cushions were too big
