I watched this a long time ago and bought it so I have itfor my collection. Ricky Gervais is amazing.

We watched this three times in a row the first night we got it. He's raw, he doesn't hold back and if you like that kind of thing, you'll laugh... a lot. And then you'll watch it again and laugh some more. He doesn't hold back - He picks on everyone and everything including kids with cancer and obese people. It's Ricky - It's what you have come to expect from him. He's now on my list of those I need to see live after watching this DVD.

..... hysterical. I love the british comedians. Benny Hill & Monty Python started it all for me.Tho Ricky Gervais can have quite the "potty" mouth his materials are intended for mature audiences and not for children. There are no boundaries for this funny man and nothing is held back.He expresses his views on many a topic with the funniest of ides.Highly recommend to adults who can enjoy this refreshing man from the UK.:~)

It just wasn’t funny!! I thought it would be, the same brilliance he showed us, at the Academy Awards. I was very disappointed!!

Ricky Gervais is one funny guy, can't wait for his second DVD to come out. Saw number 2 show on HBO, then found out its for preorder, then found show #1 and gave it a try, just as good as the HBO show #2 when I played it.so far have watched about 10 or more times, doesn't get old, so far, to watch

Keeping this review short and sweet. Ricky is hilarious and delivers one of his best stand ups ever. His deliver is so genuine and you get a bit of his character from The Office. Awkward at times but can be a bit cocky when joking on people. I was laughing hard the whole way through and love the fact he called the US a "third world country". Highly recommended.

Ich habe die DVD gekauft, weil ich dachte es sei eine weitere Live Show von Ricky Gervais, die ich noch nicht kenne. Es handelt sich jedoch lediglich um die Aufzeichnung einer Live Show extra für die USA, in der er Gags aus all seiner bisherigen Shows "recycelt" bzw. zusammenfasst. Wer also seine anderen Live DVDs (Animals, Politics, Fame, Science) schon kennt braucht diese DVD absolut rein gar nicht. Ich kannte wirklich jeden einzelnen Gag. Ich gebe nur 3 Sterne weil die Show zwar super ist, jedoch vor dem Kauf nicht ersichtlich war, dass es sich ausschließlich um "reyceltes" Material handelt.

If you're a Ricky Gervais fan then you will appreciate this concert dvd. Though he performs some familiar bits, it's great to have them on disc for whenever a good laugh is needed. There is new material which couldn't be presented on regular tv (so there's the warning), but it's so funny, it's almost difficult to remember why. It's obvious the man has heart, and with an approach so laughable, he can't be as politically incorrect as he tries to be. (kinda like Don Rickles in that respect) My only complaint is that I wanted more. In a really brief 10 min. conversation with Ricky Gervais (the disc's only extra), he describes the performance as a 'greatest hits', and at 72 min. it could have gone on much longer. Still, I hurt myself laughing, and needed the rest...

Ricky Gervais is soooooo funny...just loved this DVD. I love his wildl, somewhat crazy comedic mind! And he has a contagious laugh...thanks Ricky, you make this world a much funnier place!

Funny, but his humor was very directed at certain groups of people, not what I expected.

Ricky Gervais does not leave any rocks unturned taboo topics like over weight, eating, gay aids, crippled children. He makes you laugh until it hurts.
