I used two reels of these lights on a 4ft Christmas tree. They are so pretty and gave me the look I wanted. They are a little pricey if you use several of them on a tree. Hopefully they will last a long time.

I have used these on both the tv stand and across our mantle. The cord is very thin so it’s easy to tuck it away and hide it.
