FrenchMay Touch Control Air Fryer, 3.7Qt 1500W, Comes with Recipes & Cook Book (Black)

I would not recommend this air fryer. I purchased this in the beginning of January and have been using it from the end of January until last week. I had to stop using it because the non-stick coating on the bottom of the unit started peeling off so much even though I've only used non-abrasive sponge and wet paper towel to clean it. It works really well otherwise, but Im afraid of using it as it could potentially be harmful for my and my family’s health. I've contacted the support dept of the company via email (the only way to contact them) last week to see if they could replace just the inner unit but I have not received any response to this day. When the company doesn't care of its customers, it can't sustain the business in a long run. I am very disappointed.

Love this thing! First off....... The food tastes amazing! Second, it's so easy to operate even my hubby uses it (and he can't boil water.... Sorry Joe). Third, It cuts cooking time in half of baking time..... And you don't have to preheat! And last... It cleans up SO easily! I NEVER leave appliances out on my counter..... Except for this baby. Can't imagine not having one for the rest of my life!

Air fryer did not work as it should. Fryer kept indicating an "E 1" code. Would start, run for a few seconds then stop and flash the E 1" code. We tried multiple times and even used different electrical outlets. The troubleshooting part of the manual was not helpful. There wasn't an explanation or indication that codes existed. Tried to use the trouble shooting part of the manual. No codes or explanation examples given. Brought up the "support" website. Again, nothing mentioned about codes. The only contact to the website was an address. No phone # or means to contact other than an address. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Returned item.

It worked very well for a couple of months. Then its ability to produce enough heat dropped about 50%. Per the instructions which came with the item I emailed the company about the problem with absolutely zero response.

the product works, the food cooks excellent, I have not stopped using it since I received it, but from the second time I used it, the non-stick coating started to fall and now every time I use it, it falls a little more and I'm worried that this is sticking to my food, it's a shame because the fryer really works very well

I don’t know why we waited so long to purchase this. We are in love with this and use it every day. The controls are easy to use and cooks food perfectly. So far we have used it for cooking French fries, steak, hot dogs, chicken drummettes, veggie products and more. You need to have one of these in your house!Update June 2018: after only 6 months, the air fryer has stopped working and won’t turn on. Luckily we purchased a service plan but going to contact the company first. Rating is changed due to this.Update end of June 2018: I contacted the company and they sent me a replacement. Changing the rating to reflect good customer service. Hopefully this one will last for a while.

We do a lot Asian cooking at home and the number one issue is the grease fume. So we bought this Air Fryer to try it out.So far we have tried the popular chicken wings and it is very easy to operate with tasty result.Our main concern is actually non meat stuff as we don't fry meat often but vegetables.For vegetables we tested, both eggplants and tofu came out just like deep fried, which makes us really happy. To air fry vegetables, you do need add a little oil to them and especially for eggplant, we had to mix it with starch and oil. But just a tiny amount of oil and no grease fume! I actually put my air purifier next to it to test this and the air quality indicator stayed blue, which means clean air.We also tried to fry sliced Mantou, a very traditional Chinese dim sum, and again it exceeds our expectation.FYI, we set the temperature to 400 degree most the time and fry 6-8 minutes for the vegetables.

So I just received the product today, and I am so happy with it! Mt review is based on 1 day of experience and 3 uses so far. I've made chicken wings from frozen, brussel sprouts, and my personal favorite, bacon wrapped shrimp.Initial thoughts: packaged very well, beautiful sleek look, a little larger than I expected but still a good size for a small apartment counter. No scratches or scuffs. Easy to understand manual. The slide out tray slides in and out with ease and clicks loud when it is in correctly.After using: easy as heck to use and understand. Touch screen is beautiful and buttons very responsive. Appliance does not get hot on the outside just warm. Stands on little rubber pegs so it is not directly on the counter, won't warp. Food came out crispy and clean up was a breeze. Love The little recipe book that comes with!Overall this has been a life saver and life changer for me. Bacon is the new favorite as it has a drip rack so any oils and grease fall to the bottom and the bacon can get crispy all around and not cook in it's own grease! For the first time I didn't have to set it on paper towels when I was finished!Love this appliance but I will update my review if anything changes such as wear and tear or breakdown.Definitely recommend!
