Motorola Q14 Mesh WiFi 6E Router – 3 Pack | Tri-Band | Wide Expandable Coverage | Easy Setup, Fast Steady Connections, Online Security and Expert Support with The Intelligent App

I tried for months to get these devices to extend my wifi throughout my house and into my yard. I could not get them to mesh. The extenders would not connect. Motorola customer support in awful. The only way to contact is through a chatbot or email. Super slow and cumbersome. Motorola finally offered to send me a new set of devices (router and mesh extenders) which were just as bad as the first set I bought from Amazon. I was supposed to send the first batch to Motorola in exchange for the set they sent me. But instead I sent them back to Amazon for a full refund, even though I was outside of the 30 day return window. I then sent Motorola their awful devices back to them. I then bought the eero 6 devices and within 30 minutes of opening the packaging I had a great wifi signal throughout my house and yard. The eero 6 devices have the software dialed in.

Pros- The set up was incredibly easy with the app. All the devices came with a QR code that you scan to register. I was done with the setup in minutes!- I’m really liking the design, the cloth material and the shape give the wifi pods a speaker aesthetic. They look very similar to the Sonos speakers we have around the house.- The Wi-Fi has been fast and reliable so far! Depending on the device or server I'm connected to, I usually get anywhere from 750 Mbps to 900 Mbps consistently. The highest I've gotten so far has been 973 Mbps.- The biggest pro has been the coverage. Our previous router had problems spreading coverage to the ring doorbell and the garage opener, while this Q14 does both easily.- Last thing, the live chat was extremely helpful! I’ve only had a few questions so far, but I love the fact I can avoid being on hold to get help.Cons- I wish the Q14 came in a black, again I’m a big fan of the design and shape (4 out of 5 stars) but it would easily be a (5 out of 5) if it was available in black or dark grey.- I wish there was another ethernet port available.Overall I have to say I’m super happy with the order. Honestly at first the main motivation for the change was avoiding the modem and router rental fees from Xfinity. This was actually recommended by an Xfinity rep when we called to cancel our cable tv and drop back to only internet. I was paying rental fees of $25 a month ($300 a year) to Xfinity for the xFi package, so my new setup should pay for itself in just a year and a half.All that being said, I was pleasantly surprised to see, I’m getting far better speeds with the Q14 than the xfinity equipment. Plus now my network is future proof with WiFi 6e tech

Dont buy.intially i set it up very quickly. everything seemed to work great then 3 hours into using the product it stopped working. i reset to factory settings. did setup process again nothing. tried again next day and it worked for 5 mins then again failure. i set extenders 20 ft from router and it still had issues.customer service support is a joke, no number to call. i returned.please dont buy

Have been having a lot of issues with my WiFi recently as I live in an area with a lot of other WiFi signals. My research came to the conclusion to try 6E because it features a new 6Ghz band that is a lot less crowded than 5 and 2.4Ghz.The difference has been incredible and am getting much faster speeds and mesh coverage is expansive. Can even get WiFi on my phone when mowing my lawn! All of my smart home products connected with ease(Doorbell, thermostats, smoke detectors, etc). Overall very happy I went with this system, setup was very easy with the app!

Desperately needed this for my new single family home! Worked perfectly for my VR setup which was on the opposite side of the house from the old router and now the connection is flawless. All my TVs can stream with full wifi bars everywhere too! Setup was super simple and the devices are sleek and go with any decor. This allows us to work ANYWHERE throughout the home and I even positioned one right next to the patio door so in the spring we'll have great connection in the back yard as well. No more black holes in the living room or guest room upstairs either. Highly recommend and is absolutely necessary for medium to large homes.

This product was intended to upgrade out home Wifi network. Major failures include:1. Product does not support IPv6. IPv6 is essential for modern digital communications.2. The Motosync app was unable to include the second and third units in a mesh. Multiple attempts uniformly failed, with "Try Again" and "Contact Support" options.3. We notified Technical Support of the failure in #2, but did not receive a timely response.We are totally dissatisfied with this product.

I spent hours trying to set this system up, installing and re-installing the base and extenders. Got them synched up once - but only when close together. When placed remotely, the system disconnected itself and never connected again. Tech support couldn't help - finally had to return the unit rather than waste more time.

I installed one unit on each floor of our home and have great wifi connectivity on all 3 levels and most importantly no dropped calls on my Verizon (VZW) cell phone while pacing throughout the house.All of our outdoor wifi based security cameras have good connectivity installed 100'+ from the house.With the mobile app it was easy to setup and configure the devices ( a few minutes per unit). The units are aesthetically pleasing. Looks similar to a small speaker.I highly recommend!
