Can we use as 3rd type also ink instead of pencil? so we could have black, blue and red ? and finally, can you please 1 or 2 brands for the refills?

Yes if you follow these steps, but you have to heavily alter it: 1. You can open the pen then pull off the pencil mechanism. The tube holding the pencil is twice as lone as the tubes holding the ink refills. 2. You can cut the metal tube down to the length of the pen holders using something that can cut soft metal ie Dremel or mini hacksaw. 3. With pen open so you can see all the tubes mark the pencil holding tube where it is the same length as the others. 4. "Select" the pencil tube so it sticks out so you can cut it without damaging the others. 5. After cutting it deburr and polish the cut end smooth. Now you can stick a pen refill on it like the others and will function exactly the same.

What are the barrel and body tip made of?

the entire pen is metal. I don't know what kind of metal, but it gives the pen a very nice weight to it. it's also very durable.
