These were excellent on my dremel tool to “sand” in the deep cracks of a piece of furniture I was refinishing. I used it in the creases of spindles and the deep corners of some drawers to get out stripper and varnish. Be sure to use goggles/protective eyewear! As you use it, the metal bristles wear down/come out. Then I sat on the garage floor and kept getting little metal “splinters” in my skin through my clothes! I recommend using them outside of the garage, if possible! I learned that the hard way! They did the job, though!

I have a garage door opener with 2 lights that turn on by motion or the opener moving the door. Neither light worked for months. As I looked down in the hard to get to light socket I saw corrosion inside. I was able to (with it unplugged of course) brush off the corrosion and get a shiny surface. The brass brush did not do much in this application but the steel one worked great. I might not ever have a need for these brushes again but they saved me from buying a new opener.

As far as these go you get a lot of the money, & true to the advertisment the shanks are heavy duty, but the wire collar isn't. In my set the shanks of all the brushes except the vertical steel ones were extra long & could not fit into either my Dremel or my AllTrade case with the lid closed. The vertical style brushes outperformed in every way I could have wanted! However the cone & horizontal brushes will yeet wire into you, & everything else in the vicinity at only 10,000 rpm (lowest setting on my Dremel- the highest setting is around 30-50K) I recommend melting some flux & solder into the core of them if you know your going to need it @ higher speeds, or length of time. You can also use Elmer's Wood Glue as a weaker substitute, but that may rust the steel brushes over time. Either way after all the wires are gone I'll be able to cut up the collar & shanks into some other useful tool bits.

I'm so satisfied that I purchased these. They're easy to insert in my Dremel or drill. The quantity is extreme, and I use them constantly cleaning up metal parts. The wire stiffness is good for what I clean and the bristles are soft, but I don't get any breakage. The shapes make the brushes very versatile.

I read many of the reviews that said these were very poor quality, didn't last long at all, and threw off the small wires all over the place becoming an eye hazard. i decided to give them a try anyway due to the quantity and the price because I was only planning on using them for one particular project. Well, the bad reviews were very correct. I went through so many of these brushes in a VERY quick time because they simply wear down and fall apart super quick. I didn't even finish my project because I was replacing the brushes about every two minutes of use because they wore down to the metal hub with no wire brush remaining. The pieces of wire being thrown off of the brush as they are used is not only annoying, but rather dangerous!!! EYE PROTECTION IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST!!!!! The clean up from using these brushes was tedious, time consuming and a pain. My skin felt like I had been working with fiberglass and had bunches of little wire pieces sticking in my skin and in my hair. I had to use tweezers to remove wire pieces from my clothing and gloves. A shower and washing my clothing were a must so as to not transfer the small wire pieces to others, furniture, the car, etc. Even though they wear out very quickly, I would tolerate that for my one project and just use them in bulk, however, the issue with the small wire pieces going all over the place make these brushes a no go for the future!!! I will NOT be buying these again.

The bristles seems to come out easily. Quality isn't as good as I hoped for it to be. For the price I can see why.

These have to be the worst quality pieces of garbage I have ever used. They say you get what you pay for, but even at the paid price, it was WAY too much. I am restoring a brass carriage lantern and needed something to get in the tight nooks and crannies. These brushes lasted, and I am being literal, about 30 seconds before all the wire had blown off and was useless. These are junk, they have no use what so ever. You have been warned!

I am quite late reviewing these, but they are excellent. I bought these because I new at some point I'd need a small wire brush to get in somewhere intricate. They fit the chuck perfectly and they hold together, no flying apart. It is also nice to have the choice of steel or brass brush, some items can't take the more abrasive steel so the brass is a little gentler. Good product and price, and it is always nice to have extra's.

They don't last long, but that's why there's so many! They do the job wonderfully, removing rust etc in tough to reach areas on brakes etc. Love it and won't be able to live without these available in my drawer.
